No Fairy Tail
It seems that we won't be getting the next chapter of Fairy Tail until after next week. Sad!
If I hear of any updates I'll post them here, other than that I have Karneval's latest episode review tomorrow, the episodes come out on a Friday but I'll post the reviews Saturday mornings. We still have Doctor Who on Saturdays as soon after broadcast as I can make it.
Am I the only Fairy Tail fan that finds this heartbreaking with no anime to watch? Now no manga to catch up on... If it wasn't for Tom Hiddleston I'd be crying myself to sleep tonight!

So last episode Nai and Geraki were "caught" by Carnival after an aborted kidnap attempt (I say aborted I mean a giant cat came and threw candy bars at the bad guys and they ran away... Yep that really happened boys and girls!)
What more will we learn about Circus, and will anyone on the Circus Ship be able to wear a top hat properly?!
At least there is no Ichiya like catchphrase for me.... Yet....

Feeling redundant at work...
Well today I met our new assistant manager, I also had a long conversation with Neil about him getting the new warehouse job.
Thinking it over whilst at my partners presentation evening (where there were a lot of people going on about their jobs etc) and I feel like I'm about to be made totally redundant at work. Not actually redundant as I don't think they could find a real reason to get rid of me, but with another warehouse man and basically three managers of varying levels as well as a warehouse supervisor I don't know where I fit in!
And the newest members of staff will technically both be higher up than me! Even though one of them won't do any of the work out on the shop floor.
I'm happy I don't have to do some of the things the warehouse staff will have to do when they employee him, but I'm also just miffed that they don't even think they need an extra day on the shop floor. 7 extra hours would do me the world of good but I won't even get 1 hour extra.
And with two full time members of staff joining there will be little point me every having overtime. Who the hell would I be replacing?
The annoying thing is my responsibilities have gone up! At the moment I'm a key holder, I can do refunds and cash up and I've always banked. I just feel like there is no real point to me other than the fact they hired me I passed my probation and now they can't get rid of me.
I know no one in the shop feels that way but then they don't have to worry about it. The manger is full time, the assistant manager will be too as well as the warehouse man and the new warehouse man. My supervisor only ever wants to do her 20 hours with maybe an extra 7 here or there so I'm the only one struggling. I've tried to get another part time job but I can't work in bars because of my hearing and I don't want to work in a kitchen for various reasons. All the other shop jobs want people committed to Saturdays/Sundays (I work Sundays where I am) or else want you at work by 6am and I have no transport until after 7!
It might be more to do with turning 24 in a couple weeks. Sitting in a university listening to all these people talk about their jobs and what this qualification would mean to them just made me realize that I've wasted my life to this point and the horrible thing is 24 is a bit too old to change anything. All the NVQ's and apprenticeships are really for younger people I only have a year to find a placement before I don't get funding at all.
I have to make something happen this year else I'm just going to get stuck in this rut!

Karneval : Rainbow Colored Fuse

I have no idea what this series will be about so this blog isn't just a review on episode one but also a question of whether this series will be seen out till the end.
First time I've wrote a review on something that I didn't know whether I'd watch it till the end or not. Exciting times for us here!

Broadchurch
For the last few weeks there has been a drama on ITV called Broadchurch.
Danny was a 11 year old boy who was killed and left on the beach in Broadchurch. DI Alec Hardy (played by David Tennant) was called in to help on the investigation and worked with local police officer DS Ellie Miller (played by Olivia Coleman). Broadchurch itself was a small coastal village, the crime came as a shock to the community.
For 7 weeks the murder mystery was played out. Now after the final episode I'll review what was a cracking piece of drama, best thing on TV so far this year and a program that kept me at least guessing until the very end.

MotoGP : America 2013
Grand Prix of America 2013
Winner : Marc Marquez
Second : Dani Pedrosa
Third : Jorge Lorenzo
So after the lack luster opening race in the desert of Qatar we are in Texas for the first of three American GPs.
Marc Marquez (as you've guessed I don't like him) got his first pole in the top class in his second race, he was the youngest pole sitter could he win? (I'm writing this live so I don't know what'll be up there later ^)
Off the line Dani got the racing line and a good start but was helped by Marquez going wide and ending up in third place.
It doesn't take Marc long to get past Bradl (who was in second but as I'm typing this is fighting with Lorenzo who has passed him) and it does look like this circuit is a Honda circuit. Bradl starts to hold people back and you have the main three (Pedrosa, Marquez and Lorenzo) then Crutchlow and the others behind.
Valentino gives Crutchlow some trouble but not much. In fact Vale starts to go backwards a bit whilst Crutchlow sticks to the back of Bradls bike.
Nicky is in 10th with 19 laps to go, heart breaking a bit.
The riders started to spread out a little, Cal went wide and ended up behind Bautista for about half a lap before coming right back at him, he was the faster bike and had lost his place as I said by going wide so it wasn't really interesting. Rossi fighting Bautista was a little interesting especially as Dovi joined in.
The BBC commentators wanted to tell us as all about Marquez so I kind of zoned out a bit especially as not much was happening.
I'll use this period of quietness to say this. There was one point when F1 was quite boring and MotoGP was always the highlight, now it seems to be going in the opposite direction. I'm not sure why either, there hasn't been anything major in my memory that changed things up so much but it happened. Maybe it is a safety thing you see far less crashes in both MotoGP and F1 now (thank god) but it also stops the shake ups at the beginning of the race really. Everything is much more calm but in MotoGP it has also taken some of the overtaking away. Maybe it is just me, I was disheartened after Sic died and didn't watch religiously last year, hopefully it perks up later in the season.
Back to the race and it was just the same as it always had been. Marquez is right on the back of Dani, Lorenzo is falling behind a little but far enough in front of Cal at the moment. Cal is past Bradl who is having a good weekend.
With 9 laps to go Marquez took the lead and sailed off into the sunset.
According to our commentators this race was all about whether Marquez has the strength to win it.
Again the race was really not much to go on, some really good battles but they lasted only for a lap or two, if there was anything long term the camera's never showed it.
I switched off before they crossed the line mainly because I couldn't stand the Marquez love in.
I might only have one or two more reports for MotoGP left, I'll carry on watching but I have to say if there isn't much more interesting to the season. I love MotoGP but I haven't had my heart in it for a while.

Plugging a forum...
So just because I haven't done it for a while...
Me and my friends run a general forum. It is really about every and anything. It is for geeks of all kinds, to be a geek is basically to be passionate about something.
We have sections for TV, Film, Sports, Gaming and General life.
The big things we have going (even though we've been quiet the last few weeks or so) is our debate/discussion thread. Every fortnight Amanda changes the subject and we just blabber on about it to our hearts content. We've so far done 2D v 3D, The Royal Baby, whether remakes get a decent chance and the great fandom discussion (which wasn't really that great in the end) .
At the moment it is all about F1 comebacks but it changes on Friday.
We also try to keep things running as up to date as possible. The F1 thread has a driver of the race poll up after every race and the Doctor Who thread has a rate the episode thread up after every race.
We are all very friendly and are just looking for more people to join up and talk to us about everything and anything.

So yeah my page views have gone up recently and I was just wondering if I had anyone out there (other than Amanda) who reads my blog regulary.
I was just wondering what it is that you like about it or why you pop in. I know that my Fairy Tail stuff is quite popular but other than that I just would like to know!

I've seen Fozzy before in 2011, big fan of their music and also a huge Jericho fan. Think he has so much stage presence and personality. They were only the second band (well second gig) I saw live. The first being the "Get Happy Tour 2006" with Bowling For Soup and Bloodhound Gang.
Thing is I loved Drowning Pool "back in the day" (I sound old now) but to be fair I hadn't heard anything by them in years. In fact the last time I heard anything about them was when their original lead singer had died. At first I wasn't sure about them at all because I didn't know much about the band recently (and the picture my friend sent made me worry they had turned emo-ish) but still was buzzing to see a band that I had loved a long, long time ago.

It was a brilliant night and I can't wait to go see Fozzy next time they are at White Rabbit. Hoping Drowning Pool come back sometime too.
The next live band I am defo going to see is Bowling For Soup again. As I said I've been to three gigs. The first was BFS and now it is their Farewell tour as they won't be coming to the UK anymore so it feels right that me and my sister go see them on their final tour!
Hopefully I'll see a few more live now that I've been to see Fozzy twice!

Fozzy tonight!
So getting excited as I will be off to see Fozzy tonight at the White Rabbit!
They have Drowning Pool with them and it should be a good night, will take loads of photos this time around.
I've seen Fozzy once before, I won the tickets on twitter when they were giving them away. I wanted to go see them because I love the wrestler Chris Jericho but couldn't afford tickets. I had been at work so my phone needed to be charged and I couldn't find my camera. Therefore I got about 20 photos all of them tinged because they were taken on my iPhone.
Whatever happens tonight shall be wonderful!

We have had this work placement in, lets call her the Purple Haired Twit or PHT for short.
Now the PHT has been with us for 8 weeks, it doesn't sound like much but it has felt like a lifetime for us.
We get a lot of characters in our shop but she was something else. It wasn't that she lied, we've had plenty of liars. It wasn't that she was rude, we've had worse. It wasn't even because she was young! There was just something so... So fundamentally stupid about her attitude that we couldn't help but be astonished with the things that she would blurt out, not only in front of us but in front of customers as well!
She has some very weird views on everything, she always has to have done something bigger and better (or have it happen worse) then you.
Thing is she is only 18, I might only be 23 but I don't talk to Jean (in 60s) or Jenny or Jeannette (40s) like I know better than them about things that I know I know nothing about! She might THINK she knows everything about everything but to be honest even I know she's spread a load of crap around.
The first annoying thing was basically I know her brother. I never met her, I knew her brother at school and bump into him from time to time now we've left. I didn't know he had a sister until she showed up at work. But now apparently I've known her the whole of her life... Well no I haven't.
Then it was that her dad works on the buses so she knew everything about buses that could possibly be known. Just David's friend works on the buses as well and when he made a comment that his friend likes a certain model of bus then he had to be wrong because her dad hated it. When I got angry at some news from PCB because I KNOW they are making a profit (they published their profits in the Herald FFS!) then I was wrong because she's talked to the people in charge and they aren't making a profit at all. Now why the manager of a big corporation, or indeed just of PCB would talk to the daughter of a bus driver FOR ANOTHER COMPANY about their profits I don't know. But apparently they did.
She lets you know at every turning that the Conservatives are evil and that she thinks anyone voting for them are stupid and must have more money then sense. Well no love I vote for them and I'm a part time shop assistant. I just don't like seeing so much money being spent on you and your "partner".
She apparently loves all kinds of rock music but hates pop music... She also owns all of Rhianna's albums... Yeah work that one out.
She's done every drug possible apparently and wants to be a youth worker because she wants to stop people "making the same mistakes as me" well to be honest love I know that you are from a partly posh family and other then radically coloring your hair every few months it seems you've never had a problem! I know this because I asked your brother...
It got to the point were she just had to be smarter than everyone, more opinionated then everyone and have more sympathy then everyone.
Thank god she is going tomorrow! I won't see her as I have the day off. Can't wait to a week of working with normal people again!

Yoriko has been "kidnapped". Kidnapped in air quotations as she willingly left with the green haired lady. Who is she? What could possibly make Kuko turn against her allies and what would make Yoriko leave without any explanation?
Nyaruko is out to kill Kuko, Kuko looks ready to fight Nyaruko to the death. What will happen?
And who will Mahiro choose? Nyaruko or Hasuta?

My wonderful day off *SARCASM ALERT*
So I worked 7 hours on Saturday with rude and horrible customers, 5.5 hours yesterday which was alright but dragged like hell and 7 hours today with a totally irritating and unintelligent chav. My feet hurt, I have a headache, I've been getting up at 7am every morning and am working 7 hours on Wednesday and 4.5 hours on Thursday.
So what do I do on my day off?
I get to wake up at 7am, go babysit my nan until 3pm then have to get a bus to Derriford to meet David, who refuses to come and see me at my nans, so we can go out for dinner.
Now I don't really begrudge David as it was his birthday today and I was working and then asked him to come down into town and help me with something, but he's acting like I'm the most terrible person in the world. I didn't ASK to spend ALL FUCKING DAY at my nans I thought a couple hours meant over dinner time not half the day.
For some reason the bank cancelled my bank card on Saturday so I have no money, I wanted to go to the bank to get money out but now because I don't leave my nans till 3 and David wants me at Derriford at 4 I can't possibly get money out. So I'm scrounging small amounts of change off my mum till I get to a bank, which won't be till Friday now!
All I wanted to do on my day off was have a lie in and then go get some money out, make sure they've sent a replacement card out and relax. But I don't get that.
Oh by the way just to add context to why I'm so mad about this...
David spent the whole weekend at a Role Play thing in Exeter with his friends.
My mum spent the whole weekend lounging around the house doing nothing.
They don't work. I do. They have 7 days a week off (ok technically my mum "cares" for my nan, that basically means sitting around doing nothing all day though so it isn't like she's actually working, working.)
I'm fed up of work treating me like dirt, because now we have an assistant manager instead of giving me a few more hours or anything like that they are going to hire another warehouse man as well. So now my chances of overtime are zilch as who the hell will I be covering? I work peoples days off in the week so when someones on holiday they'll just adjust my hours accordingly. I've had enough of being treated like that (it isn't anyone in my actual shop, my manager is wonderful, its other people that are annoying) and now I don't even get a break from everything when I should. My choice for Wednesday is leave Jenny on her own in the shop all day and be "ill" or work, on my feet for 7 hours with the idiot talking a load of bollocks at me. And as I'm a nice person it'll be option b I take!

So today Margaret Thatcher, former Prime Minister, died of a stroke aged 87.
So far she has been the only female Prime Minister and quite a controversial one at that.
Personally for me the politics don't make the person and I feel sad that someone that I learned about and that was such a figure in our recent history pass away.
Very sad news.

MotoGP : Qatar 2013
Grand Prix of Qatar 2013
Winner : Jorge Lorenzo
Second : Valentino Rossi
Third : Marc Marquez
The 2013 season is off to a start, how did the race shake out after the holidays?
Surprise at the start for me was that Dani didn't get the lead at the start, Lorenzo got away really well and opened a large enough gap. Dovi had a great start and got in front of Cal and Vale got up behind Dovi as well.
Whilst trying to overtake Dovi, Vale overshoot and ended up losing a load of places getting in behind Bradl, Cal managed to overtake Dovi and Marquez slowly made his way through to.
Nicky kept up with the pack, he spent all of the race in the same position but other than at the beginning Dovi didn't run miles ahead of him which was encouraging for Nicky.
Rossi did fight back and ended up taking 2nd place, Jorge won by such a big margin it isn't worth talking about (other than to praise Jorge for being amazing which I already knew anyway) .
The race was actually quite boring (hence not even needing to split the very small review) and I hope it gets a lot better, this will be one of the only races I get to see live and to be honest I was waiting for it to finish.
The Rider of the Race for me was Vale, yeah Jorge is wonderful he always is nowadays, but Vale fought for that 2nd and I loved every second of his fight!
Proud of Nicky, for no other reason then I thought he was wonderful as well.

Haiyore! Nyaruko-San : Mahiro Yasaka Wants to Live in Peace (Anime)

Last episode Nyaruko saved Mahiro from the very creepy sounding TV show that Nedon wanted to auction him off for (it included erotic parts and tying him up and made him lose more of his sanity points).
Not only that but we found someone who is as madly in love with Nyaruko as she is with Mahiro. Oh no.

What I'm hoping to review now...
Well I've gotten quite good in my opinion at reviewing animes. Not so good at other things but anime and manga I think I've hit.
So what other series could I review?
Well I'll tell you!
Haiyoru! Nyaruko-san is coming back for its second season, I'm planning on reviewing the first season as well as the second. Nyaruko got my back into anime after years in the wilderness. I don't know why I stopped watching anime but I did. But since I started watching Nyaruko I found Fairy Tail which my life became based on, so now I need to re-watch season one before starting season two.
Magi, it has just finished its first season. I watched the first 10 episodes but stopped watching it as I stopped watching a great deal of things. I'm thinking of watching it again now its ended, it is easier just to watch everything at once I find!
Sword Art Online, I wrote a few blogs about it, but I might watch it again from start to finish. I have found recently watching things back a second time gives me a totally different love for them so I feel like watching this again with my expectations gone might help the series get a better review from me.
Mawaru Penguindrum, I saw an episode of this at a anime group that my boyfriend goes too and found it so funny. I have seen a few episodes, but this was back before I had wi-fi so I used to waste all my internet on it and lost interest in doing that (not the anime). So that is something I need to re-watch too.
Soul Eater, this is the first series I've totally read all the mangas of but haven't seen any of the anime. Well I tell a lie I've seen a few episodes of the anime, up to the episode were they meet Dr Stein for the first time. I guess I really do need to watch that as the series only lasted for 50 episodes.
I'm also (and this will be a long going thing if I do) am thinking of watching and reading One Piece from beginning to end. Yeah there is a lot to it but I'm game if you are!
So with my lack of Fairy Tail anime I am filling the gap with about 5 other animes. Fairy Tail you are special!

Boss for the day (UPDATE)
For those of you who looked at my blog about being boss for the day just so you know...
My worries were stupid!
The sale IS on for 2 weeks, so pure luck on that side because I didn't know that!
And I did the banking perfectly fine!
Of course I'm in Saturday so if any last minute problems arise I'll be there first hand to look disappointed in myself but it all looks good!
I haven't been online much this week as I've been extremely tired out and also rather ill. Thankfully I haven't missed doing much online so it is all good!
My worries were stupid!

Being the boss for a day...
So first I have to say wow! I've had stupid amounts of views on my blog over the last two days! Thank you for everyone who visited and hope you come back!
Today I was the boss at work. For many reasons, mainly because the supervisor and manager worked Good Friday so me and the warehouse man worked today.
It is a tale of two halves... One half split in the morning and evening.
We took a lot of money, did the end half of the pricing up and balloons for the sale did all the online bookings things like that...
I also stupidly got confused very easily in the morning and kept blurting out stupid things and by the time my brain started working again the customers had gone (no I didn't swear or have a go just they'd ask me a question and I gave them the wrong answer about the sale) and now I can't help feeling that I've buggered up the cashing up in some way.
I've left about 20 notes to my manager along the lines of "Sorry that I am incapable of looking after the shop for one day, I'm working 7 hours with you tomorrow so feel free to shout at me the second I walk in".
God I feel like a right derp.
