Haiyore! Nyaruko-san : Lets go Great Conspiracy X

Episode 5

Another alien has appeared, Hasuta, who is searching for Mahiro's mother. He runs into Mahiro and the gang but there is also a mysterious green haired women who seemed interested in that information as well.

Who is the mysterious women?!

***SPOILER***

So for a start Hasuta seems to be in love with Mahiro too! Poor Nyaruko! And Kuko seems set on helping Hasuta to get Mahiro over Nyaruko... Didn't see that one coming did we?!

Hasuta doesn't know why his dad wants to get in touch with Mahiro's mum but it seems that they are on their way home to see her so we'll soon find out. Or will we? Or maybe not, they just seem to be talking about it outside. Nyaruko puts one and one together and gets that Hasutas dad and Mahiros mum must have had an affair, and it is totally confirmed that Hasuta has a crush on Mahiro.

Finally at home they bump into Mahiros mother but instead of letting Hasuta give Mahiro's mother whatever message he was meant to Nyaruko takes him away and gives him the low down on who Mahiro belongs too. Before they can get inside though the green haired women shows up and kidnaps Yoriko (Mahiro's mum thought I'd call her by her name) she asks the women what is wanted from her, the green haired women whispers something in her ear and she decides to go with her without any explanation.

What could have possibly been uttered that would make Yoriko agree to go with the green haired women? Well whatever it was it works on Kuko as well, as when she and Nyaruko go to attack she whispers into Kuko's ear and she turns against Nyaruko.

Now this I love they make their way off in a car that looks HELLVA lot like the Delorean from Back to the Future. Do you need any more reason why this series is like the most awesome ever?! (Especially as it defo was a play on BttF with the firey tire marks into space?!

For some reason next thing Nyaruko is having tea, Hasuta is getting excited about being in Mahiro's house and Mahiro is getting very angry.

Suddenly they decide it has to have something to do with Sononium...

Basically his mum made it up to get hugs from Mahiro, I mean I guess it could be something to do with that but I really doubt it.

When Nyaruko finally gets a call from her boss the three of them travel to R'lyeh were the green haired women went, and Nyaruko drives a car. Which is scary enough in itself. At least it seems to be a underwater car so not much trouble.

Well you say that but it is a bit like watching my friend Fiona drive I guess. Just a little bit scary... Hydra in a pink bow... Just a little scary. But all good fun!

So Hydra destroys the car but they end up in R'lyeh were Hasuta has given Mahiro mouth-to-mouth and Nyaruko has disappeared. Mahiro makes a promise with Hasuta that he'd think about a relationship with him if he still feels the same in 25 million years. Finally Hasuta tells Mahiro that he smells Nyaruko and Kuko inside the big scary looking building.

They are both there and poised to fight..... But that is for next episode!

Another really good episode with a good pace to it.

I said it last week about worrying about making Mahiro and Nyaruko a proper couple and I stick to that as especially now another part of the humor comes from the fact that Hasuta now joins in this love triangle thing...... It would really steal something if it was broken up.

The story is getting interesting, even though Nyaruko has come up with a silly bit of speculation of what is happening actually, unless we are stupid enough to think it has something to do with Sononium we are totally in the dark when it comes to the motive of the green haired women. And why would Kuko turn against everyone and follow her? There has to be a reason! As Nyaruko told Mahiro it isn't really a kidnapping as Mahiro's mum went willingly with the green haired lady.

It really makes you want to watch the whole of the story as fast as possible, I remember the first time I watched it all and having to wait a week to see the next episode, it was like slow torture. So it is nice to revisit it and watch it again from start to finish like this.

I think most of the main characters have found their footing now and it is gearing up to be quite a decent series.
