Commandeering Looe : or : A tour of Looe with a Pirate

Yesterday me and David went to Looe for the day.

Looe is a totally wonderful place, its so beautiful and the day was almost perfect. Not just because David was dressed up as a pirate (and looked deadly handsome.)

It started off all bright and sunny, we just walked around the town looking in shops, me wasting money in the arcades and getting upset even though I knew the games would have been rigged anyway, and just generally enjoying the day.

By the afternoon it was about to start to rain so we went to have something to eat (after David found a pirate shop and decided we'd have to come back so he could buy a gun) so we had a meal in Miss Marples Tea Shop which was wonderful! It was also a lot cheaper than half the places in Plymouth would be and the food was totally lovely. I had a ham and cheese omelet which was just gorgeous!

By then the rain was starting to get bad so we went back to the pirate shop so David could buy his gun and spent a nice time in the shop listening to the owner tell us all about different pirates and him giving us advice on what David should base his pirate costume on and whether or not I should be a wench or a female pirate!

In the end we had to stay in the shop for a while as it was pouring with rain, but when it finally calmed down a little (and we had found a gap in the stories) me and David moved on and did a little bit of shopping, and David got himself rum and raisin ice cream.
Unfortunately our journey home sucked, the thunder storm knocked out something on the line from Liskeard to Plymouth so the trains where cancelled and we got stuck in the train station at Liskeard. No one would tell us what was going on, then taxi's showed up but there was no organization so a whole load of people got taken to Plymouth who hadn't been there as long as we had, so we ended up waiting for ages for a coach to show up to take us home.

Other than the cock up at the end it was a lovely and near perfect day. I am so happy I got to spend some time with David somewhere nice, because of lack of money we are usually stuck in Plymouth and even then stuck in Plymouth doing nothing.

I've actually been looking at costumes so I can dress up with David the next big trip, David has actually brought me a top for when I go LARPing with him and I'm looking for a skit to match, hopefully I'll have the money to buy the skirt next month as I hope to take David and my mum to Penzance and it would be nice to dress up with David.

Things that I love Part II

So I started off just telling you randomly things that I'm obsessed with so next up I thought I'd tell you about the certain sports stars that I follow.

So in no particular order (well kinda)...

Part 2 : Sports Stars

Stupidly bored

I've had a very busy start to the year. In February our assistant manager left leaving us with no assistant manager up until a couple weeks ago, so I've had to do a lot of overtime.

Whenever I did get the day off I was bugged to death by my sister.

For the first time in what seems like a life time I have the house to myself. I could watch anything or do anything.

And I'm sitting on my computer bored out of my mind.

Random thought of the day

Why the hell are the photos on the MotoGP website profile bit so ugly?

I mean yes its about the racing and not every racing driver is going to be a pin up, but some of the photos are totally gruesome but the actual riders themselves are not that bad!

A very random thought and maybe quite a shallow one but to be fair I got a bit scared by the mug shots this year and do feel sorry for some of them!

MotoGP : Qatar (Race 1)

So it was the first race of the season this weekend (I know it is now Thursday I've been pretty busy!) and in a happy turn of events, with it being Easter Sunday, I managed to watch all the classes fully live!

Of course that will probably be the only time I get to do that this year other than my birthday weekend (French GP wooo!) but it was a nice way to spend a Sunday evening!

A terrible idea for a blog

So me and David have been talking, and what we've been talking about is his friends name. His friend is called Chris Trace and unlike David Jefferson, which is such a long name that by the time you've finished saying it you are too bored to add an insult, Chris's name is perfect to tag random thing onto the end of it.

So without wanting to offend any Chris Trace's that might come across this blog, this is the terrible blog of Chris Trace.

Chris Trace is a fool.

Chris Trace likes to choke it in the bathroom.

Chris, as in Chris Chris, as in Chris Trace Chris, as in Chris Trace Trace Chris as in Trace Chris Chris Trace.

Chris Trace is a monkey.

Chris Trace is not a pirate.

Chris Trace drank all the rum.

Chris Trace shot first.

Chris Trace is a very naughty boy.

Chris Trace is a mangina.

Chris Trace likes vagina on motorcycles.

Try to substitute Chris Trace with David Jefferson or many other names and it just wouldn't sound the same.

Yes my third blog was a load of pointless crap.

And if Chris reads this I would just like to take this moment to totally lay the blame on David, he made me do it, he viciously attacked me and made me do it. And half of them he came up with. Yes its all David's fault!

Things that I love Part I

Well I thought I'd better do a blog like this as I have no life so the majority of my posts will be purely about things that I love, watch, read and complain about.

Here are a few things that I am totally in love with.

Part 1 : Things

TNA Maximum IMPACT Tour IV (Jan 2012)

Me with JB
So as I said in my last (first) blog this year started off well with a big achievement for me.

I'm a life long wrestling fan and I love TNA, even with their short comings I just adore them. So last year I decided to bite the bullet and go to a TNA live show, and on the 28th January I was standing outside Wembley Arena.... On my own. Waiting for the show.

Why is this such an achievement?

(And just so you know this ISN'T a review of the night)

Why start this blog?

In the last couple years this has to be like my third blog.

I used to run a Bruno Senna fan page/forum but after getting fed up I needed a change. Before and during that time I had a LiveJournal account, after a while the site just didn't want to work for me ever so I gave up. Then I got a blog on the same site I had for my Bruno Senna fan page, but after the fan page went down I just didn't have the strength or the attention to do it anymore. I've experimented with Tumblr, and as nice as the community is I just couldn't keep up with the endless fan girl posts on there.
