Nyaruko-san late review

OK so it is 2am, I have just finished reviews for Karneval, Penguindrum and Fairy Tail. All late (mainly because of my new puppy) as well as a late review of Hannibal.

In all this I forgot totally about Nyaruko, if it wasn't for the fact I now have to wake up at 6 every morning to look after Gimli I would usually do Nyaruko now then the F1 afterwards. As it is I'm going to bed, the other blogs will post in the morning, Nyaruko will probably be done tomorrow evening along with Zombie blog. F1 hopefully will be up then too as I do really want to watch the race I just haven't had the time.

And to be totally honest I can't blame it all on the puppies. Truth be told I brought Arrested Development Series 1-3 on DVD and I've been watching that since Saturday, my sister stayed at home and watched all of series 2 today and as it is my DVD I'm determined to complete series 3 before her.... So even though I only have to look after Gimli tomorrow I doubt I'll get much done till either I complete series 3 or else night time when David leaves like tonight. Especially as David will want my laptop or to play Skyrim, he won't want to watch F1 on my TV and will just get annoyed if I watch it on my laptop.

Life hey? Always getting in the way of cool stuff!

Hannibal : Trou Normand

Hannibal escaped death and discovery last week and finally marked Will Graham as an equal. Of course when the spot light fell on Hannibal all we saw of Will was his decent into deeper and weirder madness.

I guess Graham couldn't complain though, he got to snog Dr Alana Blooms face off. Lucky guy!

I can't remember if I ever posted that I was starting a Malifaux army... Well I am. I (not that it'll suprise you) have gone for the Neverborn and jumped straight in there with The Dreamer and Lord Chompy Bits.

It might have been obvious I'd go for them (look at their faction pure me really) but to be fair I was torn. If you stumble on this blog searching for Malifaux information... Sorry you won't find much. I'm not big on playing I love the painting. Therefore even though I will build a Dreamer army up I will be buying a LOT of stuff outside Neverborn. I have this whole Circus thing in my head...

We had the great pleasure of meeting Seraphim, a Vampire Ninja, who came to ask for Eu's help but instead ended up being Ayumu's servant (even if she doesn't think much of him.)

Haruna is still trying to get her magic back but until then she had a hard lesson to learn last week, which in turn taught us a little more about the real Eu behind that armor.

Yeah I know I'm lazy on my holiday...

Penguindrum will be up tomorrow but not at its early time of 11:30 it'll be up... Well maybe at 11:30 depending when I wake up. I usually do it the night before then schedule it for 11:30 but I've been editing photos for the last 2 hours and before that (seeing it was my birthday!) I was reading my new books!

Nyaruko-san... To be totally honest because I watched the OVA and reviewed it and when I did that the episode this week hadn't been uploaded yet I've totally forgotten about. THAT will be up sometime tomorrow as well!

F1 Thought.... Legends in the making v Damn decent drivers

We live in a lucky age where it seems that we have legends in the making coming out of our ears.

Schumi is undoubtably a legend, then that up and coming Alonso beat him to become a legend ender. Next year after that Super Rookie Hamilton came along to be the next Senna, quickly followed by that rather spectacular Mini-Schumi Vettel!

So last year we had no less then 4 legends on the grid!

Not to mention Robert Kubica looked certain to reach the cloudy heights of "Silent but deadly Legend" (I'll copyright that one I guess) of Kimi Raikkonen. And we have Raikkonen back now from rally.

So in the last couple years we've had another 2 as well on top of the 4.

Wow how lucky are we?

But who really is a legend and who is just a damned good driver? And when it all comes down to it lets face it, who really decides who a legend is? What is so special about some of these drivers, and when we look back at legends what period actually has a LOT of legends like we seem to have now?

And what the hell is wrong with just being a damned brilliant driver? (Stand up and take a bow Nico Rosberg, Giancarlo Fisichella, Nick Heidfeld and the rest of you!)

Karneval postponed till Sunday

Yeah so you are probably gonna come on here and wonder where the heck my Karneval blog is.

Well... I officially started my holiday on Thursday, stayed up till 4am on Wednesday watching Hannibal but didn't get much sleep on Thursday... So I ended up sleeping most of today (Friday) away. When I was awake I wasn't awake enough to write a blog, got the Fairy Tail one done then totally forgot what I was doing.

At first I thought "Yeah I'll do that tomorrow" but then remembered I'm up stupidly early to take my niece to ballet then we are going into town so Catherine (my sister) can buy my birthday present and also to see the Lord Mayors Day parade. When we get home it is getting ready for Doctor Who's series finale. So yeah it'll be late by the time I write up Karneval.

If I don't do it and schedule it for Sunday then I'll probably write it on Sunday along with Nyaruko-san and the Nyaruko-san OVA which came out today.

Sorry 'bout that!

Now with these words you probably think I'm off to bed? Well I'm not I'm going to watch an episode of Arrested Development because I've been told to. But just so you know...

Along with the normal review blogs (schedule posted here) we will have Hannibal on a Thursday or Friday (I think I'll watch it on a Thursday but need to wait till next week to confirm which day the review will be) and Supernatural... Not decided what day.

Supernatural you say?

Why yes! I had my first e-mail from a "fan" who convinced me to watch Supernatural from start to end and write blogs about every episode BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE IT. She thinks I'll enjoy it more the longer I watch it because I gave up on it very early on (about episode 2) so she wants me to write a blog review about it. I accepted the challenge. I'm not sure how I'll go about that, maybe do three or four episodes together and do a once a month blog that kind of thing.

So in the coming days you'll have catch up blogs on Hannibal and he'll be joining us for the next few weeks leading up to their end of season as well as the normal blogs (hopefully back to normal next week).

Ohh and in case you are wondering no I did not catch up with the last MotoGP race. I didn't give up reviewing it I just never bothered watching it. Sad I know but I'll write a blog on that later.

Simpsons Tapped Out : Last Request

Well Whacking Day will end on Thursday and I'm still so far away from getting the Motel or the Arena.

PLEASE can people who might stumble on here and see this plea donate as many eggs to me as possible!

I don't have many eggs to give unfortunately I have been giving my eggs out but not getting any in return, the proof is I have over 8,000 snakes but only 60 eggs at the moment! I pleaded on a swap thread last night but out of the 3 people who added me only 1 person gave me eggs.

I asked in Tumblr but got no friend requests.

I have nothing to give but have been given nothing in return for my eggs all event. Thanks to lots of work as well in a place I can't get any signal to play the game I've failed miserably at this. I really want to try and get at least one of the last buildings I need to get.

PLEASE take pity on me!

Bryan Fullers new drama based off of the character of Hannibal Lector.

The show will revolve around the blossoming relationship between Hannibal and Will Graham.

As a big fan of Hannibal (and the wonderful actor Mads Mikkelsen) I have decided to give this episode the "first episode blog test". Just like Karneval this will be an introduction into the series the normal way (via first episode) and by the end of the blog I'll let you know if I'll see the series to a end!

I have big hopes for the series as Mikkelsen is one of my favorite actors and Bryan Fuller is a very talented man.

Last week we had the heartbreak of seeing Gareki's friend Yotaka die, he was mutated by a scientist, unwittingly by his older sister at first and then out of nessecity. He died in the arms of his sister Tsubame after disobeying the order to kill her.

Fernando Alonso v Paparazzi

So apparently once again Fernando Alonso has had an altercation with a paparazzi who was just trying to get a photo of him with his girl outside their hotel yesterday....

Hate to break it to the guy but yeah I don't blame Alonso for being angry, I don't blame anyone for being angry about it! Causing damage to the camera I don't agree with though funny thing is this guy KNEW Alonso has had altercations before with paparazzi and is surprised to upset a guy whilst "just trying to get a photo with you and your girl" ?

I hate how he hides behind being "the press" no you weren't, what news would you get from taking a photo of people coming back to a hotel room after going out? Yes there are people out there that want to see those types of photos but taking them at the circuit is one thing outside the hotel? Totally disgusting.

Alonso should probably pay the damage on the camera but can you blame him for getting angry?

The stupidity of the comments that the photographer sent to Alonso and the whole situation is bound (and already kind of) being over shadowed by stupidity of fans.

"This is why Alonso will never be a true legend" they cry. Well at least he just damaged a camera from some rude bastard prying into his personal life, Senna is a legend and he wasn't the nicest of people all of the time. He lost his temper plenty of times. What the heck does a temper outside of the car got to do with him being a legend?

And we are really going to compare him to lying two faced Vettel? Don't make me laugh!

Now I'm agreeing here that Alonso was in the wrong on the criminal damage.

But the photographer was wrong for taking the photo in the first place no matter what the hell he thinks or people in "the press" think. I don't take random photos of random people when I'm out and about and from following wrestlers/drivers/actors online I get the feeling they'd rather you asked then to sneak about taking their photos. So no I have no respect for him prying.

Alonso works when he steps into the circuit or a PR event, that is when you take his photo unless you ask first. If you don't ask and he gets upset yeah if he goes too far its bad on him and his fans won't stick up for that behavior, but don't try to make out you are innocent.

Still hope Alonso wins this weekend!

This anime follows Aikawa Ayumu who really is a zombie. Join us every Thursday to follow Ayumu's random adventures and the ups and downs of his life as a student (and also a zombie.)

This will be a staple of our Thursdays for a while as there are two series, count them, two! to cover. The second series being Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? Of the Dead.

Retro Gaming

So one reason I've been kind of silent (and nearly forgot to write the Zombie blog for tomorrow) is because me and my friends have been playing... Well maybe not retro but old games.

I have completed both Toonstruck and Discworld 1 and 2 and am now playing (ok not an old game at all) Harvest Moon Spirit Island. My mate Amanda has been playing Pokemon Yellow. It is quite nice just sitting online chatting whilst playing games from our childhood.

Thankfully I've kind of got over it, that with the fact I'm back to normal hours next week means I'll have more blog time. YAY!

Simpsons Tapped Out

I've been meaning to write a blog about it, this isn't that blog, this is a quick shout out to anyone reading this blog that might have an account on Simpsons Tapped Out and wants to befriend me quickly before the whacking day event ends and send me lots of eggs!

Problem is with all the friends I have I have had a very small amount of eggs given to me. Before this week it was about 12 overall not counting the ones my Squiggle sent me, this week I've been lucky to get a few but I'm still way off of getting everything I need. I've just got over 6,000 snakes.

Doctor Who : Crimson Horror

Last week Clara had a tiny tour of the inside of the TARDIS, she also found out the "mystery" surrounding her and then..... Everything was restarted and she can't remember it.

What'll happen this week when they go back to Victorian England?

Money shortage... Still

So I really am in trouble this month. I've only had my phone bill (£41) come out of my bank so far but I am already down to £200 left! I need to buy my mums birthday present, still got three weeks of weekly bus passes to buy AND my mums phone bill (£41) and the home phone bill (about £45?) and bank charges (£10) to come out.

Altogether that is what? £137?

Take that away from my £200 and I'm left with.... Well actually nothing as I just remembered that I was counting the money amounts I had listed above but forgot to add the £40 odd bound for bus fare and £10 for my mums present, so that is -something for me this month!

My birthday is May 20th.

But I can't help looking at that date and feeling bad. I need to buy my best friend a birthday present, her birthday was all the way back in January but for some reason I just seem to have no money ever at the moment. She sent me a link for what she really wants and it is over £30 and that is without postage! I don't know how I'm going to afford that any time this year and that is strange really.

Maybe it is just because I have so much bus fare at the moment, I'm working nearly every hour under the sun. Next week should be the last week without a assistant manager, so I should be back to my normal hours then (goes from £15.50 a week for bus fare to £10) plus I have one week off this month and two off in July so I'll catch up somehow!

It makes me realize just how much I need to get a new job!
