Episode 329
Last episode we came face to face with the seven dragons that made it through the Eclipse. We saw the destruction they were about to cause and we found out the F.Rogue can control them.
How much destruction can seven dragons do?
***SPOILERS***
We start the chapter with Natsu fighting F.Rogue and his dragon, the dragon destroys a big chunk of the town whilst the mages on the ground try to defeat the dragons elsewhere. Makarov tries to punch their dragon in the face... Didn't work nothing happened.
We find out that Sting and Rogue aren't as tough as they make out, their dragons made them kill them and Rogues was dying anyway!
We find out from F.Rogue that the future isn't controlled by lots of dragons, only the one. Acnologia.
F.Rogue invented his magic to control dragons but it didn't work on Acnologia so he came back to gain an army of dragons and apparently 7 will do. But as F.Rogue brags Natsu gets a clean hit on his dragon and tells him that he is unlucky as there are seven dragon slayers.
Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy, Sting, Rogue, Laxus and....
We then see Doranbolt and Lahar going to ask someone for help. But who.
*Cue fangirl moment for me*
Cobra. That is who. That is the seventh dragon slayer. Cobra is back!
Oh and he has a prisoner number 100977.

The chapter was brilliant to be honest, great story and brilliant ending. I hated the fact that we got Cobra on the last page and nothing until the next chapter. I want the next chapter now!
The story of F.Rogue is starting to become clearer, and it is nice to know that Acnologia did show up again I didn't think he'd be "hanging" about with the other 100,000 dragons happy to give them some control. It is also interesting to know that F.Rogue actually INVENTED his dragon control magic.
I'm not too sure why the dragon slayers haven't started to really fight, I've seen Rogue and Sting look more battle worn then before but it would have been nice to see them attack and to be fair they SHOULD be doing damage when they hit like Natsu did. Also the line from the Sting flashback about "to become a full dragon slayer you have to bath in the blood of dragons" (not quite that but still) was quite interesting.
I'm happy it looks like next chapter we'll get some Dragon Slayer fighting!
I was really happy to see the Cobra is coming back, it does make sense to go and get another Dragon Slayer even if they are a bad guy, everyone has to come together to fight it. He could add a new dynamic to the proceedings.
What I want to know is this whole "seven Dragon Slayer" thing, does that mean there are ONLY seven Dragon Slayers? We know of seven but could there be more?
At first Dragon Slayers were quite special but now there seem to be loads of them (ok seven).
Just so you know Laxus is my favorite followed by Gajeel, Cobra, Natsu and Rogue then Wendy and bottom of the pile Sting.
I'm happy it isn't going to be Natsu v seven dragons it does look like each Dragon Slayer will defeat a dragon themselves, mainly because I think Laxus is stronger than all of them and it would royally piss me off if Natsu suddenly did his super Natsu stuff. As I've said before I understand him and Lucy are the main characters, Lucy is the real anchor for the reader whilst Natsu is the "superman" but I can't help but get annoyed with it when we are constantly reminded of how important all the members are. Yes this is a fight only a Dragon Slayer can win but Fairy Tail themselves have 4 Dragon Slayers!
Can't wait till the next chapter, I have a feeling we won't get much fighting going on as Cobra still needs to arrive and the Dragon Slayers will need to get into it but I can't wait to see what happens!
