Episode 6
Yoriko has been "kidnapped". Kidnapped in air quotations as she willingly left with the green haired lady. Who is she? What could possibly make Kuko turn against her allies and what would make Yoriko leave without any explanation?
Nyaruko is out to kill Kuko, Kuko looks ready to fight Nyaruko to the death. What will happen?
And who will Mahiro choose? Nyaruko or Hasuta?
***SPOILER***
Mahiro and Hasuta run to find Nyaruko and Kuko and find them ready to fight it out. Mahiro asks them to get their fight done fast so they can all go home for dinner and then leaves with Hasuta to find his mother.
As the first time they fought they seem equally matched unfortunately you'll never get a proper serious battle with them as Nyaruko throws photos in the air pretending that they are her modelling photos and totally distracts Kuko.
So now Nyaruko knows why they are here, the only two left is Hasuta and Mahiro who are still on their way to save Mahiro's mother. They opened a big set of double doors and find....
A computer.
Yeah it is a war between Space Computer Companies. And as we know Yoriko loves computer games and so does Kuko so it makes sure that they both agreed to go along like it meant nothing. It turns out that Hasuta's dad is on an opponent companies board but what is before all of them is the Xoth's newest console.
So after Yoriko breaks the green haired womens heart telling her she thinks her console will fail it is time for Nyaruko to go over the top and beat up the bad guy. It turns out that the green haired women is called Luhy and her console is being abandoned. Poor Luhy. A load of monsters come in who are basically being hypnotized by the game into believing they are the zombies in the game but Yoriko saves the day with her paralyzing forks!
And the big sad scene of killing Xoth went to Kuko. I don't know who I felt more sorry for Kuko or Luhy, not Nyaruko who just missed out on her "love" scene.
So the story ends, the bad guy is being dealt with officially and the computer was killed. Hasuta goes home, until he shows up at school the next day.
Next thing we know we're at the beach, Yoriko got tickets to the hot springs and they had enough for 8 people so they also invited Mahiro's friends from school Tamao and Takehiko.
As everyone goes to bed Mahiro is woken by... Oh what am I saying we all know what he is woken by. The cliffhanger is did Nyaruko take his innocence or not?!
This episode was really fun, it ended the ongoing story of the "kidnap" we got to actually meet Luhy half properly and it carried on another story into the next episode.
I really liked how the big revel was something as silly as it being to do with a computer game. The whole "foreshadowing" joke is actually really, really funny.
It was nice to see that Kuko got a big "love" scene with the computer as well. Made it feel like all the characters are just as important as each other.
Hasuta is so really funny, I do laugh at his attempts to woe Mahiro.
It looks like next week might go deeper into "relationships" which is a little depressing (see last two blogs) but never mind.
I really think the series gets better every episode, it started off fast paced, individual episodes that contained themselves to one 25 minute slot. Now they have longer more involved stories, still as light and humorous as the small ones but giving the story a little more time to breath from the over the top humor of the first three episodes.
Still I can't find one thing I dislike about any of the characters, they are all really sweet and super funny. It would be interesting to see if they ever did a real serious episode, I doubt it as it is a light comedy but it would for me be funny now to see them all acting serious.
Half way through the season now and it really is just a wonderful program to watch. Hopefully the next 6 episodes keep up the brilliant quality that the other 6 have had!
