So last episode we were introduced to Nyaruko and Mahiro, we found out all the loves and obsessions of Nyaruko and the weapon of choice for Mahiro (a fork) .
A rather eccentric episode with lots of parodies of animes/mangas gone by.
What has the second episode got in store for Nyaruko and Mahiro (maybe plot?)

The second episode starts with a recap in Mahiro's words.
When we get back to the action we learn of a new Space CQC move from Nyaruko, she uses a grenade to kill a load more Nightgaunts. Nyaruko tells Mahrio it is time to finally go on the offensive, she freezes time and tells him that the stars are aligned and R'lyeh will rise.
The firey character from last episode is seen again being given orders by someone else about stopping the Crawling Chaos from touching anyone.
Meanwhile Nyaruko and Mahiro are on Dragon on their way to R'lyeh. We also see all the other "guests" going to R'lyeh, which apparently is a theme park. And a nice looking one too, I so wish it was real! Nyaruko gets distracted, and then forked, and they make their way to the auction house.
She gives Mahiro a "protective charm" before entering the bad guys base. They are greeted right away by Nodens who starts the Black Auction. Before Nyaruko can save the day she must defeat Cthugha (Kuko), the Living Flame (Little Miss Firey girl). Noden sends Nyaruko and Kuko away to fight were no one can see them. The battle looks totally interesting as Nyaruko looks like she isn't sure how to defeat Kuko.
We now get a floating text, Star Wars style before getting... Weird. It seems Kuko is in love with Nyaruko and wants to have her wicked way with her (a bit like Nyaruko wants with Mahiro).
Back to the auction and we find out what it is that they are auctioning off. Yeah you've guessed it, Mahiro-san.
Nyaruko opens her mouth and makes Kuko very jealous, she decides to go and end Mahiro which gets Nyaruko angry (and serious amazingly). Her serious Space CQC s basically Power Ranger Nyaruko.
The fight was actually very tame and quite boring, after all the stupid things that Nyaruko and Kuko got up to Nyaruko knocked her out in one punch and then after opening his "Protective Charm" she comes back to Mahiro.
The whole reason for this ends up being about a homoerotic TV show... Yeah Mahiro was not impressed but it was quite funny!
So Nyaruko is leaving, she's eliminated the threat so mission over...
Sad moment with lots of sad words. Goodbye Nyaruko.
Who the heck are we kidding?! She's back at home waiting for Mahiro.
So another episode over.
There was a story in this episode and it mixed the comedy in with a little bit of action and a forward moving plot. Of course a lot of this series is humor based but this is a glimpse of how tight the stories can be in the series.
Of course introducing yet another main character in Kuko, already the Love Triangle begins!
The thing I love about this series is that it is just so wacky and eccentric, one minute you think you are about to get a serious story and the next someone is about to be sexually mishandled by an obsessive alien.
The story had its heart in the right place, it still is a bit overly strange at times and relies on Nyaruko giving us a break down of the plot in 2 seconds speaking at 100 words pure milisecond but to be fair on the episode it was fun. Something you can just sit down and watch.
Now the only question is will Kuko (who is in the opening titles) show up again next episode? How does she join the little gang?!
