Fairy Tail : Natsu v Rogue (Manga)

Chapter 326

Last week the plot started to thicken. Natsu and Rogue's battle heated up, Lucy and the rest of the team came face to face with the Princess and Arcadios and Eclipse 2 started to open.

But where are those Dragons?

***SPOILER***

Fairy Tail stand ready to defend the city, July 7th. The day the Dragons disappeared. And as Gajeel puts it, the day they will return.

We go back to Natsu and Rogue, Rogue can sense the Eclipse doors opening but still he wants to kill Lucy, he doesn't believe that she will keep the doors shut but Natsu is sure that Lucy will do what is best for the people.

As Natsu shows off his Fire Lighting Dragon attacks Rogue has a surprise up his sleeve as well .. White Shadow Dragon Mode. He possess the properties of both Light and Darkness, which just makes Rogue even more bad ass to be honest.

Though within the next few pages it is time for tears as we find out that Rogue got this power by killing Sting, this doesn't sit well with Natsu. Just as it looks like Natsu is done for Ultear enters and saves the day, or has she?! The shadows suck Natsu in before Ultears very eyes.

And there we have it, Lucy going to shut the door. But with the revelation (not to Lucy though) that Rogue actually might not be all he seems will even Lucys Guild mates stand by her when this looks to be humanities only chance?

We'll find out next week....

I think I've figured out Lucy's thinking here. Possibly.

Rogue says that Future Lucy closed the door therefore causing humanity to suffer at the hands of the Dragons, but if I remember correctly Future Lucy said she didn't shut the door. Therefore possibly, just possibly Rogue is lying and Eclipse was opened therefore bringing Dragons back to the world?

I'm hoping that makes sense but I'm thinking that is what Lucy is thinking, after all she is Lucy and she should know whether or not she'd lie to her friends about something. She always feels bad about things even if it has nothing to do with her so she would have shown something if she had been part of the reason the door was closed and the Dragons attacked.

Either way it is hard to say why Rogue would be a good guy yet would have killed Sting!

In fact I really want to find out what the hell happened to Rogue! In present day he's telling Fro he is going to live for his friends, it was a real Fairy Tail feel good moment. Now we find out that in 7 years time he's absorbed powers he's taken after killing his best friend (other than Fro!) it really makes you wonder what happened in those 7 years.

7 is the magical number for Fairy Tail though.

This weeks chapter felt way too short to be honest! A lot happened but not enough, I understand the reason why though as it is making this story even more exciting and raising the stakes even higher for our heroes. After all if everything about Lucy's train of thought was dealt with within this episode we wouldn't have known that Natsu is in trouble or that Rogue seems to have gone totally in the opposite direction from good.

Next chapter feels like it will be such a big one I really can't wait to see what happens next! This arc has been one of the most gripping in Fairy Tail, in fact I will go out and say that this is one of the best stories in any media I have read (or watched) in a long time. All the twists and turns. It started off being about bringing pride to the Guild, entering a friendly tournament with other Guilds and has turned into one of the darkest hours of the manga so far. Because not only is Fairy Tail under threat, not only are their friends under threat, but everyone is in real danger. And that danger has been made even more clear by the fact we've had Future Lucy and Rogue return and tell us just how dire the future is.

Still no Dragons though.
