Haiyore! Nyaruko-san W : Talent for Love

Episode 4

Last week we saw Hasuta's real form, or angry form, or fighting form whatever floats your boat. We also saw Mahiro saving the day YAY MAHIRO!

What have the crazy aliens got in store for him this week?!

***SPOILER***

We start with Tamao getting all dressed up, but it seems that has nothing to do with anything?

Our heroes have the day off and Mahiro is off shopping. It seems that everyone as always invites their selves along and Nyaruko thinks it is a date.

The crazy writer from episode one is back selling her books, she gets a glance of Mahiro and runs to get a autograph. The crazy writer girl is called Tsuruko if I didn't get her name in the first episode.

We get to see what Yoichi being awesome at bowling and other not very sporty sports. Nice to see him in it more. Even if it is a running gag during the episode, Tamao is out and about not dressed up I hope this leads to something not that I care as long as they are in the episode.

Nyaruko takes Mahiro to a haunted house and finally Kuuko is back to normal attacking Nyaruko as she did, thank god that is back to normal!

Shantak has gone up a level and gone on a quest with his little friend, very cute! They get attacked and Mahiro's mum comes to the rescue.

Mahiro went out to buy forks and now has Tsuruko "there is no girl who doesn't like homosexuality" what a character! She runs into Yoichi, it looks like love is about to blossom but all her fans see her with him and it looks like they all think he's her boyfriend.

Yeah there hasn't actually been much coherently happening at the moment.

Tamao and Nyaruko meet up after school the next day so that Tamao can help Nyaruko. Tamao tells her to start a chain of events to leap into Mahiro's hearts.

It seems Tamao does like Mahiro and the alien who mind transferred with her last episode starts sending her happy waves.

A bit of a muddled episode with no real story, but sweet in its own way. It is nice to see Tamao and Yoichi more involved in episodes though it breaks my heart that Tamao isn't even going to try with Mahiro, she really should.

I've been a believer that Mahiro and Tamao should get together since early last series purely for the fact it changes the dynamic a bit though I also know that if they did get together than it would kind of ruin the Nyaruko jokes. On the other hand I hate the thought that Mahiro will end up with Nyaruko and would prefer him to have feelings at least for Tamao.

But that is for another topic totally.

So the episode?

As I said a bit muddled but strangely fun seeing there was no bad guy in the episode, it was nice just having the characters having fun together. I think I prefer these kind of episodes to the ones with bad guys, or if there are bad guys then have Nyaruko's brother back creeping about but being helplessly beaten before anyone knows he's really there.

I think all the characters were back to being their best this episode as well, they didn't seem parodies of last seasons or completely different, it would slot into series 1 best of the new episodes and this is probably why I like it so much.

The really good thing was that even though I've pointed out there was no point or plot it was enjoyable, maybe this is the kind of episode they do best just wild and fun instead of trying to come up with stupid plots with as Mahiro says "bad punch lines".

A nice episode lots of fun and hoping next week, which looks like it'll finally introduce the red haired character in the title sequence, lives up to this weeks brilliance!
