Haiyore! Nyaruko-san W : Celaeno Library

Episode 2

Last episode ended with Nyaruko on the phone looking a bit worried so what was the phone call about and what will happen next?

***SPOILERS***

Well I think we got a bit of a swerve as she's still on the phone in a totally different place, but she's on the phone to Tamao talking about her failed attempts at getting Mahiro...

The Great Library of Celaeno....

Basically Nyaruko has forgotten to bring back a library book so dragged everyone with her to return it. Of course as you might remember it being mentioned last series Hasuta used to work here and apparently according to Nyaruko and Kuko he can be quite scary.

We were so close to finding out how old Nyaruko and Kuko are, I don't know why Mahiro doesn't just ask Hasuta though how old he is as they went to Space Kindergarten together.

For a change there is a really cool looking bad guy (well two of them) and they also beat Nyaruko AND Kuko.  It was left to Hasuta to save Mahiro.

LUHY!

So the bad guys came to Earth and its up to Team Mahiro (as they shall now be called) to go find them and stop them.

So the episode was really fun, there were a few WTF moments like when they were talking about who the bad guys were and suddenly we go to Nyaruko explaining the situation in the shower and walking out of the shower naked. Just a little unneeded but still quite funny. One of the least eccentric episodes by far though it seemed bordering on coherent.I loved the section in the library and Mahiro getting book-sick. Also Nyaruko and Kuko's reaction to him trying to find out their age.

As I said for a change the bad guys look quite awesome and they beat Nyaruko and Kuko!!

Nice to see Luhy has found a job that she loves to do and nice to see she will give advice when they go to her.

The only bad thing I can say about the series is how in my opinion they are going to ruin Kuko. She was wonderful as a mirror to Nyaruko/Mahiro but also wonderful in her lack of interest in things. But not only that it was funny watching her fawn over Nyaruko and hating on Mahiro. Now she seems to be in love with Mahiro and it isn't funny really. I also miss her walking around with her hand held console paying no attention to any of them.

Other than that a really good episode and can't wait till the next one which looks like it could be brilliant!

Oh and also I love how Tamao and Yoichi look like they are slowly joining the group more and more. Maybe not to the point they'll be traveling and doing all sorts with them but to the point that they'll have important parts to play in Mahiro's life.
