In the last chapter Gajeel became the Shadow Iron Dragon slayer to defeat Rogue, Rogue who was possessed by some shadow himself.

What will the outcome of the fight be? Who will take the points in the Grand Magic Games?

Thinking over old friends with a clear head...

So today I was talking to my friend about some of the friends we've lost in the last year. I've probably blogged about most of this before (in fact I pretty much know I have) but now that I'm not emotional about it I thought I'd write a little about it.

I've put it under a break because it might be long.... But it is basically a blog of how sad actually losing friends, even internet friends, can be.

Work Placements "Slavery"?

So a current court hearing found in favor of someone who said that being forced to work at Poundland was like slavery.

As someone who has been on a work placement and that see's people on them all the time I thought I'd give my opinion...

One of my friends asked why I write ***SPOILERS*** before the cut off to my review blogs.

The simple answer is this.

I once wrote on Digital Spy I'd be sad when Brutus dies in Rome. I then had a person rudely tell me that I've ruined the whole second season for them. Now it was no big secret what Rome season two was covering, any small notion of historical events would have told this poster that Brutus would die. It wasn't really a spoiler unless of course to this person historical knowledge is known as a spoiler!

Some people can be quite stupid. They'll go looking for reviews then blame the person who wrote it if they give plot away. I find it difficult to review something without explaining what I see. Therefore to stop anyone moaning at me about spoilers I write that there will be spoilers so that they read at their own expense!

So a answer to a question most people didn't have in the first place!

I have finally finished reading "The Secret Garden" which I borrowed from the library. I had grown up with the film, probably a long time ago I read the book, but right now it felt like a totally brand new experience.

The film is a childhood favorite, something I couldn't dislike now if I tried, how did the book compare?

Bruno Senna leaving F1

I was a Bruno fan back when he first appeared in GP2. I owned a forum and web page all about Bruno. I met loads of Bruno fans and had a lot of fun. 2 years ago I closed the site down. Why? Not because I really disliked Bruno but because his fandom got to me. It was one of the moments when I realized that I wasn't really cut out to be in a fandom. Not that far in anyway.

Random Surprises

So I'm trying to get an apprenticeship in Admin, I want to move away from retail before I'm too old to get an apprenticeship.

The first place interested in me did their training through Plymouth City College, now they have been wonderful with all the help they've given me. I have to say though that they've dropped the biggest eye opener on me.

I had my first interview last week for a job, doubt I'll get it, but was happy that I got it. The lady in charge of me (sounds so wrong doesn't it?) phoned me a few days later saying I had an interview this Tuesday for the College.

Now as I have to do a key skills test I thought this was something to do with that especially as I have a mini "test" before the interview.

Apparently not! Today the lady, who is really very brilliant, sent me the job description for the interview!

I am shocked!

I'm happy I didn't e-mail her telling her I couldn't go, which I was going to do purely as Tuesday is the only day off I'm getting till Saturday, else she would have thought I wasn't really interested. I am obviously interested in the job, just not so much the fact I have to do stupid things like 3 hour key skill tests *sigh* especially at this point where I don't have much time to myself because of overtime.

Just so you know I have a new Photography Facebook page. Its obviously to show off my photos.

Will be making a Tumblr blog up at some point as well.

Fan Entitlement Issues...

Before I begin, as I know fans are very sensitive to being grouped together if I talk about Group A of fans in general terms I am not trying to group you because you have a shared view with them. So yes now I've gotten that out of the way I'm talking about Doctor Who fans, and I'm talking about the 50th Anniversary and the attitude of some of these people that is starting to wind me up big time.

A poster at a toy fair told us that we are getting the end of series 7, a 60 minute anniversary, a docudrama called An Adventure in Time and Space and 11x25min mini documentary style things, one for each of the Doctors.

When this poster leaked fandom went into melt down.

And right now I could poke it with a big stick!

"Bedroom Tax"

So in April I will be one of those people that at some point will be hit with the bedroom tax. We'll survive initially on the fact that my sister and niece are here but when they have gone we'll have one bedroom too many and that, in the eyes of the government, is one bedroom too many.

Now I have to say me and my mum were planning on moving to a smaller place anyway but reactions on forums have really hit me, some people are total bastards!
