Space Dandy : A Merry Companion is a Wagon in Space, Baby

Episode 5

To match the hefty heights of Episode 4 this episode is going to have to have one HELL of a story! I mean last episodes zombie fest was amazingly well written and felt refreshing for a zombie episode of anything.

Lets hope it doesn't match Episode 3.......

***SPOILERS***

Gentooans are so COOL! She turned Dandy into her little stuffed penguin.

A episode where we get to spend a lot of time with Dandy away from the others and with a little kid. Not that she likes being called a kid. Her name is Adélie.

It was nice seeing him look out for her, another quite severe change of pace. From zombies to a road trip. A bit like Mr Bean's Holiday. It was quite nice seeing a bit of a more serious side to Dandy but also to see him actually care about something. He didn't do the whole leaving people thing that he usually does he stuck with her and helped her. I wish there were more episodes like this to be honest.

I do hope we see Adélie once more before the season ends because she really brought out a nice side to Dandy.

It was very much the plot of a big Hollywood movie done on a smaller budget and with less time but overall just done better, especially with her getting angry and turning him into the stuffed penguin seconds before she is kidnapped by other alien hunters that she has made look stupid in the past and the fact he has to save her with her granddad who Dandy tracked down.

Why the alien hunters both looked like Cyclops I do not know! But everything was so heart warming and sweet.

Two straight episodes that have been amazing.

It was just really sweet, the whole plot was cute, Adélie was adorable and Dandy was nice. For a moment at the end you could just about make yourself believe he was playing to his own stereotype to make her happy rather then mean what he said.

He looked a little more then a two dimensional character for a change.

I mean this could all change back by next episode but it is nice to have a theme for the week thing going on and the last two episodes (and episode 2) have made it so that I'm kind of reluctant to miss an episode now!
