Uchouten Kazoku : The False Eizan Electric Railway

Episode 12

....... Someone save Yaichiro please....... And Mother....

***SPOILERS***

So Yashiro is still the only one free, he picks up a bottle of Electric Brandy out of his pocket and I think I know what he thought of, Yajiro..... He isn't captured by the Ebisguawa family he is prisoner only to himself.

And with the title of the episode I'm sure we are after Yajiro, and we are. Yashiro's big plan seems to be getting him drunk?

Well... It seems to have worked.

Those two idiots really are idiots with their metal pants. So their transformation ends and they are on a train.... Yeah we know who it is! Yajiro is lovely even as a train! So now Yasaburo has the Raijin fan, thank goodness and he going to return it to the Professor!

Finally Yajiro has remembered what his fathers last words to him where "What is fun is good" and with that he is free! Off they go to save Yaichiro.

Turns out that they seem to be going around in circles.... Something weird is happening. The idiots had a cell phone and managed to set a trap with their families elite guard. Thankfully they were able to second guess them and the Eizan Electric Car ends up flying! Yasaburo messes up with the fan and sends them flying into the building, Yashiro is sent to stop the meeting of the elders and told to go give the fan back to the professor whilst he goes to save Yaichiro.

Yaichiro is crying, no don't Yaichiro you'll make me cry!

Yasaburo tells Yaichiro that is was Soun who sold their father out and Yajiro hops onto his back.

Benten is in the dark with the old guy we saw last week with Ebisugawa. Turns out the other guy has another Tanuki that his friend at the Electric Brandy shop had... Yasaburo asks to go with the Friday Fellows to see the Tanuki they are going to eat and Benten vouches for him....

Yashiro is interrupting the meeting of the elders with the professors fan, giving Yaichiro just enough time to appear.

Yaichiro tells the truth to the elders and obviously Ebisugawa denies any wrong doing, right next door the Friday Fellows file in (after all their original place of meeting was just destroyed) and the episode ends.

So we get another episode? YIPPIEE!!!

I'm so happy that Yaichiro has been saved and that he's telling everyone what Ebisugawa has done. Of course right now they don't know what to believe, even with Yajiro there but lets hope this all ends well! And the Friday Fellows are next door to them, this can't end well for Ebisugawa!

I loved the episode, it really will need to be watched in line with the others at the end of the series as this has been one long emotional story.

I'm so happy that Yajiro is out of his well and having fun! I hope he can return to live with his family after this because it is a shame if he goes back to the well, he felt guilty about his father and now he knows the truth so lets hope that now he can remember fathers last words he comes back!

I really can't wait to see what happens next week, I'm guessing it is the last episode so I really want to see how it all ends up, should be interesting! I mean they must save Mother, there is a room full of Tanuki and the Professor is in the room next to that (he was invited don't forget!) and there is no way that the whole of the Tanuki population will let this happen.

Then again I can see two ways this is going to go.

1/ Obviously Yasaburo is with them trying to save his mother so if they hear his voice in there or his name Ebisugawa can point the finger of blame at Yasaburo...

2/ Similarly the old man could say he has a friend at the Electric Brandy company and maybe even mention Soun and he gets found out that way.

That is my cards on the table moment for this show, we'll find out next week obviously!

The big problem with this series is that the episodes tend to be two, three or even four parters and without the others some of them seem flat, short or don't make sense, this series is one of the most beautiful and emotional shows I've ever watched, I said at least once that it is nearly perfect and a masterpiece. This still stands but you feel frustrated waiting for the next episode all the time, not the fault of the people making it, that is what they want you to feel after all, but for a viewer it is annoying!

What a great episode though?!

I loved how they defeated the idiot brothers and happy they got thrown into the water, and the whole stuff with the fan made me giggle.

I really want to see a big moment for Yaichiro though, I want him to become Nise-emon but I also want him to BE the head of the family, at the moment it is much more Yasaburo, he's the calm headed one that seems to do what is needed when it is needed whilst Yaichiro seems to mess up or else try and find logic in the wrong places. I really want to see Yaichiro, evolve into the Tanuki we know he can be!

I can't wait to see what happens!
