Servant x Service : Don't Neglect the Safety of You or Your Workplace

Episode 3

Last episode we met Ichimaya's little sister Toko and tried to help Miyoshi get over her problems removing time consuming customers!

What awaits our civil servant friends (plus Toko) next?!

***SPOILERS***

We start with Ichimaya telling us about the new comers. Well... He's asking Chihaya whether he's a good teacher or not, of course you are Ichimaya!!!

Turns out that Yamagami is a bit dangerous too according to Chihaya. She reads too much according to Chihaya. She's obsessed to get her cosplaying.

Ichimaya once again depresses himself thinking that Yamagami is better then him, and Toko see's him stroking Yamagami's hair. Oh Toko just admit that you like your brother!

Whilst in the store room her bra hook breaks. She tries to hide it but just brings the notice to it even more. All of her work colleagues have noticed and are not sure what to do. They don't want to upset her so it is up to Ichimaya to sort it out... Instead Hasebe comes up with the plan to tell Yamagami that she looks like she has a cold so should go home and rest.

So back to work next morning!

Hasebe tells Ichimaya about his "problem" of wanting Yamagami's e-mail address. He follows her to the bookstore later on and catches her buying books. He treats her to lunch as she cuts back on food near pay day to pay for books but once again forgets to ask about her e-mail address.

Next day and its stormy outside. Hasebe tries to help Yamagami first by getting something off a high shelf and next cheering up a crying kid with ventriloquism. Whilst looking for documents in the storage room she gets scared by the thunder and lightning. Hasebe gives her his MP3 player to listen to music whilst the storm is still going on and leaves her to her paperwork. Later on she walks in on him explaining to a customer in sign language directions to where she needed to go. She asks him to teach her but she needs to return the favor...

Instead of asking her for her e-mail Hasebe asks for her cup size.... Silly fool!

Sitting through it a second time was much more enjoyable especially after seeing episode two.

The world doesn't look so dark for this show!

I think I let too much of this episode get to me, I don't really like jokes based on breasts and things like that and I'm not really into Hasebe and his e-mail fetish or his need to make jokes at Yamagami just because of her name and stuff, especially as he isn't really doing it in a nasty way just an absentminded way.

The episode got better second time around but I can't say I enjoyed it incredibly.

It was nice learning a little more about Hasebe, it seems that so far we've had a episode really teaching us about each character which is nice. The big problem is we know Hasebe is a lovely character, a really smart one and the joke so far has been his slacking off and slight jokey way of life. Problem is with this much time with him at times he just seemed like a jerk, not a jerk, jerk but a jerk because all he wanted was her e-mail and he didn't really think about the jokes and he did sometimes...

That makes no sense.

I think it leaves me with mixed emotions about Hasebe, I don't like the whole "sexual harassment" joke. It isn't needed and I don't think it is that funny. He is best when he's causing them trouble by being a slacker and being a big mouth but I don't think I want to get inside his head much anymore.

I'm the kind of person that thinks mindless jesting that isn't really welcomed by someone isn't funny at all. He thinks it is but it seems to actually really upset Yamagami...

That being said as always I like Hasebe.

I don't know, this episode still has me pondering.

I don't dislike it or like it, average episode and really didn't stand up to the quality of the first two episodes.
