Fairy Tail : Gray v Doriate

Chapter 350

The non-human Doriarte has been defeated by a de-powered Gray, all three Fairy Tail members (Erza and Natsu as well obviously) have been repowered and entered their own body once more.

But for Gray that doesn't mean much as we found out the true nature of Doriate...

He is a demon from the book of Zaref and he is angry!

***SPOILERS***

And with his anger comes a shout that sends everyone, yes even bitch face Minerva, backwards to before puberty.

EVEN SMALLER WENDY! And Flare as a little girl. Everyone is so cute!

*Ahem*

The fight for Gray couldn't be any worse right now, with all his powers decreased and Doriate's increasing it only takes one blow to sweep him out of the way! After a near death blow (saved by Charlie and Happy) Gray notices how Doriate is purposely trying not to hit the ground, with that in mind Gray goes to work to attempt to control the villages ice.

And like a true mage of Fairy Tail Gray channels the magic of the ice through him and lands a finishing blow, which is more worrying the magic or the demon?

After reverting to his old self Doriate gives Gray the message "You're the ones who opened it up... Hell's gate, that is... It can't be undone... AND -" but before we get the And some massive assed bird apparently eats him.

This is really what Fairy Tail does best.

So what is hell's gate? I still haven't gone back to see if Zeref did mention it in the chapters he was in because I'm sure I heard it before. I probably should do that!

This is becoming really intriguing! I mean we have a giant demonic looking bird attacking now! Cool!

The chapter was, as I said, what Fairy Tail does best, making Gray look bad ass and giving us a little laugh. And thank god the laugh was at everyone and was cute and didn't involve Lucy's breasts!

I loved the fight with Doriate and I'm really happy that Gray kept a cool head, that is an important part of his character and I always love seeing it done well. He's beaten a demon of Zeref, he must be proud!

We have Charlie and Happy back now as well with Gray and everyone is once again fully powered.

By the sound of next weeks title I don't think we'll be getting Erza v Minerva yet, which I am kind of happy with they seem to be dragging it out a bit which will annoy me as it was the first confrontation and other than Erza stealing Minerva's trousers it hasn't really done much else yet!

A good chapter though and a wonderful one for Gray fans.

And lets talk about baby versions of them all? How adorable was Wendy?! And Flare! I always thought Natsu and Gray were quite cute but didn't think Flare would be. Hoping Flare gets turned into a little girl in general, much nicer character.
