Chapter 29
So Usopp messed up and Captain Kuro's crew will be coming from the opposite direction. Can they stop them in time?!
***SPOILERS***
So Usopp tries to lie to the pirates, only Django believes him (pretty funny) he also tries to bribe them with Nami's treasure, which doesn't make Nami happy.
They finally get on the same page and throw little spikey things on the slopes to stop them from advancing...
Meanwhile Zoro is up (YAY) but he and Luffy don't know the way North (Luffy has ran to a completely different area once more.) Oh no.
Just when it looks bad for the village (not on Usopps behalf who is doing a wonderful job) the idiot twins show up. "NAMI HOW DARE YOU KICK ME!" "USOPP YOU IDIOT! YOU DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME WHICH WAY NORTH IS!"
Really guys?
The chapter felt really REALLY short but it was a good one.
For a start I loved how brave Usopp was being even though he was terrified, went off Nami just a little more as well. She isn't brave and she isn't a nice person really, she was just going to walk away and leave Usopp to deal with them.
For someone who keeps trying to take the moral high ground with pirates she isn't really morally any nicer is she?!
But the real hero of this chapter was Django.
What. A. Idiot!
Too funny! His worried look after believing Usopp's lie and I do love how he keeps putting himself to sleep. He is pretty funny I'll give him that.
I'm just happy that dumb and dumber are finally up and ready to go, I mean come on guys! Zoro had a good enough reason I'll grant you that (he'll always have a good enough reason, he's wonderful!) but Luffy? If you'd just stopped running ahead you'd know the direction to go in!
Looking forward to seeing how they stop the pirates!
Again really feel bad for Usopp, he wants everyone to believe he was lying again, that is pretty sad. I mean if they still think he's lying they'll never know how brave he really was. That kind of sucks.
I know how brave he is though. Brave Usopp.
