One Piece : Crescent Moon

Chapter 28

No one believed Usopp when he went to warn the village, even worse Kaya didn't believe him. But he's got Luffy, Nami and Zoro behind him to save the village.

Come on team! We can do it!

***SPOILERS***

Usopp starts to get angry thinking they are only staying out of sympathy for him being scared, Zoro points out it isn't out of sympathy but commending him for his courage to fight on even when scared and knowing that his life is at risk.

So Kuro is back in the mansion and opens the present that Kaya brought him. A pair of glasses because his always slips, he stamps on them and then kills the maid/butler/Mohji clone. Well serves them right really she was the one that shot Usopp!

So Usopp told the guys there is only one entrance.... Just they forgot about the one in the north where by the sound of it their boats are as well. Sooo everyone runs to the North side of the village, other than Zoro because Nami (in her worried state over her bloody treasure) started sliding down the slope and then she used Zoro to get back up.

Yes Zoro kill the bitch later, I really wanted to see him cut up a few of the Kuro crew!

It seems that Luffy has gone in the wrong direction though....

On one hand this chapter was really funny (What are we all good at "cutting" "stretching" "stealing" "hiding", what are we in for! and of course Zoro trying to run up the oil covered slope! dig your blades in!!) and on the other really sad (well we have a dead character so yeah...)

I don't know I don't think just making him evil will make Kuro any more interesting, he is just a boring character. At the moment he's very bland, if only they added something to him he wouldn't be that bad. I mean he has all the character traits and has done all the stereotypical "bad pirate" stuff you'd expect but somewhere along the line they've forgotten to add personality...

First character I really find bland in the whole thing though.

Really disappointed in Nami, I know she'd be worried about her treasure but why is that more important then saving a village from being killed? She isn't worse than a pirate? Yeah right pull the other one!

I can't wait to see Usopp stand up to the pirates and I really hope that we get to see Zoro do something other than climb the slope. Though watching him try to get up the slope could be interesting in its own way, is there no way just to run AROUND the island? Or as I said up there just dig your blade into the ground! You have three of them.

I really feel bad and worried about Kaya, poor girl really believes in Kuro and now he's gone and stamped on the present she was going to give him. Heck just stealing from her would be more cruel then what he's planning, she's put her heart into that man, even turned her back on her friend right now because she thought he was too good a man to have nasty rumours spread about him, and he's gone ahead and stamped on her present. What a cruel git!

This chapter just made me really sad. REALLY sad.
