Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? : Yes, I summon death

Episode 6

Last time out we came face to face with the serial killer who just so happened to be a magical girl as well and the one in the hospital... She's just about to do some serious damage when Eu pops up to help the gang.

Shit is about to go down!

***SPOILER***

Kyoko throws all she can at Eu but it doesn't really do much harm and then Eu picks up the chainsaw and turns herself into a magical girl....

I don't likw Kyoko's chances now!

Why the heck did we have to have a flashback to naked Haruna?! Ayumu figures out that Eu has been the center of everything that has happened, which we all kind of knew anyway. Eu tells them all to stay back and goes to face Kyoko one on one away from her friends. Kyoko does the whole 100%, 200% thing but unlike Ayama who just tends to get stronger she seems to be using up her life force, the skin comes away from her arms and she starts to cough up blood. Suddenly Eu says one word and Kyoko drops down dead.

Or not. It seems that Eu will just carry on saying it until her opponent dies, yet we never get to hear her speak we just see the pain that Eu feels after saying the word and Kyoko falling over and over again. In her last attempt to defeat Eu Kyoko uses her full power and blows the whole area they are in up.

Haruna picks up the chainsaw and apparently Sera has made up a new technique, and just as all hope seems to be gone she impales herself on her own sword.... Well all hope is gone because it just meant that she could regenerate.

Ayama transforms and lets Kyoko hit him with all she has as he can't die. He tells Eu to come home with him and have dinner and smashes Kyoko's sword with one hand. He tells Kyoko that she changed his and that he'll change hers for her. She keeps on attacking him but as a zombie he can't die and when she lets her guard down he slashes at her with the chainsaw.

After the fighting is over they sit Eu up and they decide to go home and have dinner together, Dai-Sensei shows up to claim Kyoko telling them if they had killed Kyoko she'd have had to kill them. She takes Kyoko home to "reeducate" her and also to take the tofu that Ayumu promised her.

It seems that someone else was behind Kyoko though as he speaks through her just as we thought it was all over. "The King of the Night" and he takes Kyoko...

Apparently this "King of the Night" was a zombie she destroyed...

Back to his normal life Ayumu ponders the world around him. Whilst eating with Eu he asks her if there are more zombies and she tells him that there was one once that she thought she destroyed who got consumed by her malice.

As for her current life Eu finds it "not bad" good stuff!

Actually I really liked that ending to the story, mainly because it was the ending of the fight but the start of the next chapter of this story.

So Eu's way of dealing with it is to tell Kyoko to die, you can see the pain in her face as we already know that she feels the pain of the people that die around her. It makes it understandable why she doesn't want to talk really doesn't it?!

The camaraderie of the group is wonderful, even though they don't always get on and call each other names they really do care even in such a short period. The fact that they'd all go out and die together rather then stand back even when they don't have any power is fascinating.

so now we have another zombie to worry about, one that seems to be using other people to get at Eu, one that should already be destroyed. So he is the real culprit of the series then?

But for now we're back to the normal life of a zombie and his friends, isn't it fun!

I loved the episode, once again there were small bits that made me want to giggle but the whole episode was actually rather creepy and really serious. Kyoko in particular was quite a messed up bad guy what with the whole skin falling off her arms and destroying her own eardrums thing. I like that it was a group effort to kill her and even then they didn't actually kill her, after all Ayumu isn't a evil person so it is obvious that he wouldn't want to hurt anyone ever.

Dai-Sensi is a bit of a pain though! I mean she'd have to kill Ayumu and the rest if they'd killed someone that was doing the best to kill herself as well as them?! Give me a break! I know Kyoko was her student but maybe she should have come and sorted her out long before she did, I know the joke was she mainly came back for the Tofu but still!

I'm sorry I keep making you wait for these blogs, the story as always is so enthralling and it is so well put together. It balances such a dark story with such light hearted and wonderfully deep characters. I will keep this up to date from now on!
