Episode 7
Kyoko was defeated but we found out that there is a bigger and more evil power out there waiting for Eu to find him. Spooky stuff!
But the group are back at home together so let the fun begin!
***SPOILERS***
We start with some girl eating soup. She makes that seem so scary as well, or at least she looks scary doing so!
Ayumu is at home studying because if he gets bad grades he'll be made to go to summer school, unfortunately he's getting help from Haruna who is a little too confusing. Plus she's teaching him string theory whilst he's meant to be doing maths. She even has a toy hammer to hit him with!
Whilst Haruna is babbling about magical animals Eu does the work for him but Haruna gets upset and scribbles over the top of it all. At school (in the blazing heat) Ayumu appreciates Haruna's genius whilst she's stuck to the window outside his classroom, apparently there is a megalo around.
Whilst on his way to help Haruna he gets a call from Dai-Sensi asking him to hold on to something for her, the funny thing being the way he's attempting to get to Haruna by staying in the shade!
Haruna is fighting a horse megalo, yes a horse... His breath worked and knocks her out, yes he's a pervert and attempting to take Haruna's pants off! Ayumu gets there just in time, he's forced to transform to defeat the Wanderlei Horse not only because he's a triple A class megalo but because the sun was killing him...
Just when he thinks he'll be able to fight the horse a bunch of Jellyfish megalo show up and sexually abuse both Haruna and Gareki, suddenly someone falls from the sky with soup and defeats the megalo. Tonkotsu Ramen is what she uses to destroy them. It turns out that the girl knows Sera (who comes and helps) she is called Maelstrom and is a Vampire Ninja as well. Haruna gets jealous of the attention Ayumu is givign Maelstrom and she pushes him on top of her and they kind of kiss.
Yes there was boob squeezing... Poor Maelstrom! He gets the crap beaten out of him by Haruna and Sera for his trouble. Maelstrom looks very upset but takes Ayumu and Sera to her secret base to tell him the secret of their soup. We don't learn the story though.
Oh yes and that kiss meant that Ayumu and Mael are married! It is also the reason why Sera couldn't suck his blood, she doesn't think that Mael thinks they are married but it didn't look that way to me to be honest!
Whilst walking home they see a tree move in their garden, apparently it is tanabata and Haruna and Eu are making up a tree to celebrate. It sounds like the scary version of christmas.
Some of the wishes...
"I wish for all the disgusting thing in the world to be exterminated (such as zombies). - Sera"
"I wish to swim in an ocean of happiness - Eu"
"I wish for the world to become a hard boiled egg! - Haruna"
They tie their wishes to the tree and have some sort of ice or rice dish outside together.
Back at school and Ayumu gets the items that Dai-Sensi wants him to hold onto. He gets given them by a very scary girl! They turn out to be glasses, Maelstrom is in his class, she's brought him lunch, and she announces to the whole classroom that she is his wife. Really too adorable! She tells him she always wanted to get married as well, its adorable, Yoshida Tomonori is the name that Orito knows her by or Yuki... She seems to have a lot of names...
Oh and the glasses are x-ray glasses...
We have a new character and what a sweetie pie she is! Oh I hope that she stays married to Ayumu as that would be a cute new addition to the family!
Haruna does seem to fancy him though, her reaction to him not paying her attention was adorable though she's the whole reason he is now apparently married to someone else! She is adorable too though, I do love all the characters so far.
Another good episode that didn't actually have much of a impact on the main story line which evolved last episode with the understanding that there is someone really dangerous out there somewhere using Kyoko's body for his own nasty plans. It took a step back and introduced another new character really well. It also had another really cute moment with the whole gang, which I adore about the series.
Orito also made a brief appearance which always makes my day!
Even the half serious threat of the megalos has a light hearted meaning behind it, I do think this series balances its humor and darkness so well, its enjoyable after such a heavy episode to have such a light one. And the pervy Jellyfish in suits. So funny!
Ayumu seems to be surrounded by Vampire Ninja's though!
