Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou : Strike Whilst the Dog is Hot

Episode 2

So... Dog and Scissors?

The main character is a guy that died saving a girl in a robbery and because he hadn't read the last book in his favorite authors series he was brought back as a tiny ickle doggy! Just to find out that the girl who he saved was his favorite author all along and now she can hear his thoughts...

Plus she has a nasty habit of attacking him with scissors...

***SPOILERS***

Awww she's brought him a collar! So cute, their relationship is pretty cute already they are a pretty funny double act!

Another opening theme tune that will soon be on my phone if I can just find it! Though the best part of the opening is all the dancing! It is pretty awesome! I should get some dog ears and do the dance myself.

So outside they go, and to Afro's pet shop, nice to see Afro! And he has little birdies in his hair (but he seems terrified of Natsuno.) Apparently some blonde girl has a difference to settle with Natsuno whilst she "shined". Their walk leads them to Harumi's old apartment, finally the 101/102 thing is going to be explained! He uses 101 as a library and lives in 102! Now I'm not so confused by it anymore.

Natsuno's sister is a policewomen. Interesting.Turns out the killer picked up Harumi's wallet when he left the crime scene and has since been living at Harumi's place. Run little dog and avenge yourself!!! It turns out that whilst he's been hiding he started to read the Deadly Sins books and doesn't want to be caught until he's read Lust, this girl must be some kind of genius to have this effect on people! It also turns out that he's using a boxing skill (and the terminology to describe it) to fight Natsuno, and then the Hound step which looks so stupid! Just when it looks like he's going to beat her she manages to cut all the books out of his pocket which sends him crazy (your books are on the floor in front of you mate!)

"Killing him won't turn me back into a human" some really sweet words from Harumi on why he wouldn't kill the guy, turns out Natsuno is actually feeling guilty about him being dead, and it takes a headbutt to her chest from Harumi to calm her down.

Another fun episode, we got a glimpse of I guess a lot of the characters we are going to meet sooner rather than later, I'm pretty interested in knowing about all of them! Now that we've got Harumi and Natsuno sorted out (and man do they work well together?!) I'd like to meet some of the mystery women!

I liked the episode, it was pretty sweet, I really enjoyed the relationship between Harumi and Natsuno. It goes from crazy to actually quite understandable within seconds. It was also nice to see Natsuno feeling guilt over Harumi's death, and the action/fight scene with her and the killer was awesome and lead to a great heart to heart between the two characters.

Having Harumi come to terms with being a dog is also pretty cool in episode two, it seems the show won't be bogged down by him trying to come to terms with it.

The series is just a nice bit of fun, I love it because it has books involved, but there is so much to it so far. I like the relationships, the story and the characters as individuals. Yeah there isn't TOO much to it but there is plenty there that interests me.

Slightly more subdued then the first episode, not quite so funny and much more serious, but I also feel that will work in its favor because they've got the main bit of character bonding out of the way and now we can just have adventures between the two of them! I'm so interested in seeing where it actually goes from here.

I really don't know what to think about the series, so far it has just been one big fun ride (OK so far being 2 episodes I know) and I couldn't imagine what adventures these two very strange characters will have, but if it is anything like the first 2 episodes this could be a brilliant series all round!
