Blood Lad : To Demon World Acropolis

Episode 4

We are off to see Staz's brother! YAY FOR A COOL NEW CHARACTER!

I don't know if Wolfboy has decided to follow his heart and follow... Whats her name (yep forgotten the name) but we'll see.

***SPOILERS***

Demon World Acropolis is pretty awesome! Braz D. Blood.... Ohhh I can't wait! Come on quickly get to him.

For some reason Staz is on the run from home. Just as Staz is getting ready to go after being called a wimp basically but after Hydra has also been kicked into action Staz gets thrown through a portal into..... Hydra's bedroom.... Leaving Yanagi with Wolfboy.

Whilst Hydra watches Staz get bored out of his mind (she just wants to marry him doesn't she?) Wolfboy tells us how he was abandoned because he was a half breed with a unknown demon. Poor Wolf was abandoned.

Apparently Staz has hidden power that his brother..... Locked? His brother seems a little............ Gifted himself. Maybe the fact that his brother "experimented" on him trying to kill him, he lodged a bullet into his heart and locked his magic away.

So she's realized that Staz isn't the one that has stolen her magic.

So Staz and Hydra are "fighting" (she sealed him into a "grid room" and yes I'm using " these a lot) and Wolf is trying to sort out Yanagi (who just falls asleep in two seconds.)

Ohhh we have a new friend called Liz who has an axe!

And Wolf is taking Yanagi to Frankenstein. And Frankenstein seems pretty scary, not as scary as Liz who just so happens to be Staz's younger sister who wants to lay judgement on him for "spitting" on his brothers generosity. I agree their brother is so much cooler than Staz! She's sent him to the worst prison in the Demon World, Liz's toy box. Why.... Why... WHY would Staz press a scary looking red button?

Well we'll have to wait till next week to find out what situation Staz has put himself into won't we!

Breathing through her mask makes her sound like Darth Vader. To get out he has to fight a load of zombies.

I really love this series, it is a lot of good fun and the stories are brilliant. So far I've not been bored for a second of it and I just can't wait to find out what Staz's brother is like seeing his little sister is so awesome!

Another anime that has some really sweet character moments in between the comedy, I loved finding out about Staz and Wolf's backgrounds, it made it obvious why they would be friends, both out casts really. Though I'd like to know why Staz's brother was the way he was, I'm guessing there might be a little more too it then wanting him dead? Then again what do I know I'm probably totally wrong!

Hydra I finally understand, so she was testing Staz to find out if he was the one that had stolen her magic, now that she knows it isn't him she wants to unleash his power because she's a treasure hunter, and she kind of fancies him for reasons she's not sure of but half of it will be down to him being stronger than her.

Still don't like her character very much, she's just very annoying, the series is full of really lovely characters and I've only kind of warmed to her a little bit, she drags the episode down with her when she's one of the main focus's!

The two boys really rule the show though, Staz and Wolf are both great fun. I guess because they are so similar it is easy to like them both. It is nice that they've split into two teams though and that Wolf is going to stick around and not just be in an episode here or there, he's pretty much a main character now or at least will be till Staz gets back.

And we're meeting Frankenstein! What fun! And he blows his patients up.

This is one of the best shows I've watched, especially a comedy. There are many that I've seen that slightly or fully break the fourth wall but they seem to grow stale very fast, this one doesn't have to do it to be funny the fun lies in seeing how Staz reacts to the world around him when he's introduced to human things. That is funny without having to break the fourth wall and also won't get old because even though it is technically the same joke it happens to different things.

The series is a lot of fun and is one I'd recommend to anyone wanting to watch anything this series.

The episode in particular was a nice way to introduce you to Staz's family, and what a family it looks like he has! A brother who tried to kill him and lodged a bullet in his heart to stop him activating his full power and a sister who is the girl in charge of the Demon World jail who is angry at Staz for leaving and being rude to their oldest brother.

Liz is a great character, a cross between Vader and Jason. And now she has two zombie henchmen to beat up her brother. GREAT!

I can't praise the series high enough, I knew I'd love this one right off the bat!

Though I do worry about Yanagi, is it because she's a ghost that she's going to fade? I thought she was only going to fade in the human world not in the Demon World too, or is it just a symptom of her sleeping? It will be interesting to see what happens next week with her, though she's in safe hands I guess as long as she doesn't upset him and get blown to smithereens!

Really good episode!
