Coppelion : Human

Episode 10

So the diversion team are out and about and Ibuki is about to give birth.

It is all going on!

***SPOILERS***

So we find out that Aoi was traumatised by the Ozu sisters and that is why she freaked out last episode (and kind of again this episode.)

So it is a game of cat and mouse with the Ozu sisters, Ibara, Aoi, Haruto and No-Sense.

We find out that Aoi can fly which is fun and that the eel girl can't use water to electrocute anyone. Also their time is running out faster then they first thought. Unfortunately in the fight it looks like No-Sense is beaten quite badly but thankfully he comes back alright, and Ibara finds the 1st Division guy that is in love with Ibuki before getting surrounded. Kanon is the name of eel girl, I knew I'd pick it up.

Elsewhere and there is more to meet the eye when it comes to Ibuki's father it seems, he used to work with the power company and heads over to see why the train isn't working still.

I liked the game of cat and mouse it was quite interesting seeing how Haruto could out manovour the Ozu sisters.

Other then that it was a whole load of nothing really wasn't it? The episode works as part of the larger picture but the majority of the time I wasn't paying attention to what was happening and I need to be, not being Japanese I need to be watching at all times to read the bloody sub titles not drifting off after a whole load of nothing happened!

I don't see why they can't just have one big to do with the sisters then leave it at that, this is dragging on and on and on and it really isn't working. The Ozu sisters seem to be in two minds on what they are doing and the 1st Division keep just randomly popping up. There is no rhyme or reason behind any of this it is just things happening for the sake of it again.

It seems to be like that quite a lot when we haven't got anyone but the Coppelion's in the episode. It missed the rest of the cast playing background to the diversion team.

The problem is you see how deep these characters are, how great the stories can be and how fun the story could be (in a sense) but they kill drama by either playing it too much or else playing it out. By now I'm fed up of hearing that Ibuki is about to give birth, that has been an ongoing thing for the last 5 episodes and we're only slightly closer to an end to it. The Ozu sisters were cool but are now just popping up to add "drama" when there doesn't need to be any and the wind is just being used to add more "drama" that doesn't need to be there.

Just give it a rest!

I like the series a lot but there is just so much forced emotion that doesn't need to be there it ruins the story.

Another wasted episode!
