Chapter 55
So the fight is on!
We have Krieg still yet to board the floating restaurant and Iron Wall Pearl standing in their way.
Lets get it on!
***SPOILERS***
His crew is trying to calm him down, is this because it is a good thing for us or a bad thing?
He starts screaming that he is in danger and banging his hand shields together, his middle shield suddenly starts to glow and he fires it?
Turns out that he grew up in the jungle and when he felt he was in danger he lit a fir so that is what he was doing.Turns out instead of helping he's just burning down the ship!Pearl thinks he'll "scare" Sanji but far from that! In fact Sanji gets yet another hit on Pearl and sends him crashing.
Zeff isn't weak enough to not be able to save his restaurant.
Luffy has to save Sanji after Krieg attacks him with his giant spiked ball unfortunately it missed Krieg as well. Just then Gin shows up pointing a gun at the back of Zeff's head. The bastard!
Pearl wasn't that bad! It wasn't really that interesting or scary but it was pretty fun.
Again this crew isn't going to come close to Buggy's in my eyes but Pearl was worth one match. I liked the story that he grew up in the jungle and that he used fire to keep safe, it was a nice piece of background information on him. I still want to see him out of his shields though!
As for Krieg he seems to have no real care for his crew, then again I'm going to shut up remembering what Kuro did....
But Gin, they saved Gin how could he do this to Zeff and Sanji? This is just wrong, though I guess a pirate is a pirate!
So where does this leave us?
Well we have Luffy and Sanji but we're being blackmailed with a gun to Zeffs head. The restaurant could be in trouble thanks to Pearls fires and Krieg has yet to really do anything of importance in the battle.
I see we have some fun still to go!
As I've said I liked the chapter especially because we got to hear a little about the background of Pearl. It was just a lot of fun really! I love the action ones best of all just because everyone has such unique ways of fighting.
Still think Zeff and Sanji are related!
