Free! : Furious All-out!

Episode 11

Rei has gone to "talk" to Rin. He really didn't like being in the cold about everything and after getting the low down he's gone to confront him.

What a sweetheart!

***SPOILERS***

Rei doesn't hold back does he?! He asks the big questions right up.

Feel sorry for Rei it is true they do keep going on about Rin even though he isn't with them. I really feel sorry for him.

After telling Rin that he won't forgive him if he interfere's in them being a team we go back to THE team who are worried about Rei and Coach sends them to check on him. First though they are going to buy him a gift! Haru knows that it is what he said that upset Rei and not any stomach related problem, in the end they go to see him.

At Rei's house they all come clean with each other and I think Rei is really touched to find out that everyone was worried about him.

For some reason bread makes Haru dehydrated, it is pretty cute! Aww team! Our team! Love team!

Rin is suddenly off in practice, seems that Rei got to him, after all what Rei wants know is what Rin wanted then.

And Gou is told that some girls want to cheer the team on at regional's, though I'm with her that they should have been there to start with! (Not that she said that but her reaction spoke volumes!)

So the boys are off to regional's and it is lovely to see Haru smile so often! After booking into their hotel, having their dinner they decide to go see the pool they'll be swimming in, unfortunately it is too late and the pool is shut so they climb up a hill close by to see it from above. It is a lovely looking pool!

Gou gets a message from Rin saying he needs to talk to her, what could that be about?

In the hotel room and Haru and Makoto are finding it hard to get to sleep, whereas Nagisa is talking in his sleep about Rei eating squid. It seems that Rei gets a message from Rin, and whilst Haru is out for a run he runs into Nagisa who is out looking for Rei (does that make sense?!)

So what does Rin want? To answer Rei's question. Turns out that Rin giving up swimming had nothing to do with Haru, he wasn't doing well in Australia and it made him decide that it was because he'd raced in the relay but I think it really was he wasn't having fun.

And in the closing moments we find out that Rin has been kicked off the relay to focus on his 100m Freestyle.

Poor Rin!

A good episode, a little all about the place but good for building up for the regional's in the last episode. Now I can't wait!

I did love that we got all the team mate stuff and now Haru is really opening up to the team, that is a nice touch as we close out the series. Plus Coach is brilliant, makes me laugh every time he's on screen! Great fun that guy.

And as always I loved getting a glimpse of Rin's swim team, nice to be able to see a little into their psyche as well as our own team.

I'm starting to understand Rin a lot more, I kind of guessed that one of his main problems was missing his friends, I mean think about it, he went to Australia to follow his dream but he would have gone there on his own away from the team he'd made. As a kid of course he might blame that on his relay, he was only young at the time and it would have eaten away at him because he wanted to be a Olympian but wasn't able to reach that goal.

I do think watching back I'll probably love these characters more than I do now. They are nice characters and other than Haru being a bit bland at the beginning and Rin being really aggressive towards characters who were meant to be his friends in the past all of them  have been really sweet.

Still don't like Rin very much mind you, but that is more to do with the fact that he is pretty mean to two characters who are actually adorable, those being Nagisa and Makoto who are just harmless.

Not happy this series is ending next week! Have enjoyed it so much! Really can't believe how much I've enjoyed it, really didn't think it would be my thing at all, so happy I did watch it though.

Great episode, GO TEAM!
