One Piece : The steep slope again

Chapter 35

The fight is on!

Kuro v Luffy, lets go!

***SPOILERS***

So.... Usopps pirate crew come to save the day and start attacking Kuro. Bad idea.

Actually it is pretty scary when you think Kuro has been beaten a little to the ground for the next frame to have him standing behind the boys with those bloody claws!

So Kuro decides to fight Luffy and leaves Django to attack kaya and the three kids. Have they forgotten about Zoro? Well Buchi decides to destroy everything which gives Django freedom for a second. Usopp gives his crew the most important task, keep Kaya safe.

Usopp see's how bad the situation is but the boys won't let him despair. They'll win in the end.

Another quite quick chapter (I know that it is the same page length... You know what I mean!) but it has got the story moving. Kaya is running from Django and her only hope is that Zoro and Luffy can make it up the slope, so yes the tables are now turned and Kuro holds the high ground....

Well he does for as long as it stands, after all Buchi is doing his best to level the whole place.

I liked the chapter, short and sweet.

I am not joking that Kuro actually kinda freaked me out when he just suddenly appeared behind the three boys! If that was done live action for a horror movie it would be awesome. His sword claw things probably help there though!

I'm happy the boys are taking Kaya to safety, but they still have idiot Django after them. Though if he tries to put them to sleep he's more of a danger to himself then the kids and Kaya. I do like Django (and I'm aware sometimes it is spelt Jango not Django.)

Usopp is such a sweet character I'm pretty sure that Luffy and co will let him join them after the bravery he's shown, plus he's a brilliant shot as well! I loved his sneaky hit from behind on Django that basically gave his crew time to whisk Kaya away.

Really enjoyed it and can't wait to see how this battle of the slope ends!
