One Piece : Difference in Level

Chapter 17

Zoro is finally going to teach Cabaji a lesson, don't mess with the three sword master!

***SPOILERS***

So Zoro won't lose to anyone calling themselves a swordsman. Nami decides to split up from the rest and go get the treasure whilst Luffy is left to get the map off of Buggy.

Cabaji is on the offence using his Acrobat Techniques, and then Buggy cheats. Or at least attempts to, he sends his hand shooting out to grab and hold Zoro in place but Luffy stamps on it and keeps it on the floor. Woohoo Luffy!

Zoro is tired... Cabaji takes it as he's tired and wants to give up but he's actually tired of fighting someone with such low skill and with one move he takes him out.

After defeating Cabaji, Zoro decides he needs to sleep so Luffy tells him to go ahead whilst he finishes the job off.

One down one to go!

Buggy seems even angrier at the news that Luffy is a pirate and wants to go to the Grand Line and become Pirate King. Not sure why he's so angry about it though.

Sooo it seems that Buggy knows Shanks! Interesting.

So happy that Zoro just basically destroyed Cabaji in one move and then didn't care about anything else he just collapsed to go to sleep.

I really enjoyed reading the fight, Cabaji is quite an interesting character and it was fun, but now we are getting on with the Luffy fight. Whoop for that.

I do find it a little annoying that Nami has decided to bugger off and steal the treasure and will "join" Luffy if he gets the Grand Line map which is purely because she wants to go to the Grand Line and has nothing to do with Luffy at all. A little disappointing! You'd think she'd have been slowly realizing that actually Luffy and Zoro are good guys, but no she's planning on using them.

Blah!

So now we get to look forward to Luffy v Buggy and what is even more interesting is that Buggy seems to know Shanks who we all know is Luffy's inspiration and hero.

And as I'm sure you'll remember I was in love with and wished we were following him on the adventures and not Luffy.

I liked the chapter, it was action packed and had a lot of Zoro in it. Always a good thing.

I do like how the manga is taking its time, it isn't rushing anything it slowly moves the plot forward. Too often in manga's it feels like they want to rush the endings but we get proper full on fights which makes it more interesting. OK Zoro kind of destroyed Cabaji very easily but up to that point he'd been hiding how good he was which was kind of the point.

I really do hope we get to see Buggy's crew again in the future, I've really enjoyed them so far.
