Chapter 4
Helmeppo went one step too far and son of the Lieutenant or not Luffy was not going to put up with him anymore. We ended with Luffy punching the bastard son. How will Lieutenant Morgan react?
***SPOILERS***
The townsfolk are shocked to see someone hit the Lieutenant's son whilst Coby attempts to hold Luffy back.Obviously Helmeppo isn't going to do anything other than run off to his father. The little girl (Rika) is hurried away by her mother away from Luffy.
Luffy doesn't care though he's off to talk to Zoro again.
At the Marine base and Lieutenant Morgan is complaining about the lack of tributes to him, he doesn't care that the villagers don't have the money he thinks it is down to lack of respect. He's inturrupted by Helmeppo telling him he wants to kill someone.
Back at the prison and Luffy is back with Zoro. It is no use talking to Zoro it seems as he doesn't want to be the bad guy (or in other words a pirate) not that it looks like the good guys are actually, you know, good. Luffy asks if Zoro can use a katana and after telling Luffy were the Katana is Luffy decides to go and retrieve it for him but then if Zoro wants the katana back he must join his crew. I see where this is going!
Helmeppo doesn't get the help he wants from his father, the reason his father never hit him before is because he's a bastard that isn't worth hitting so he finally gets a whack from the wonderful Lieutenant Morgan. Axe Arm Morgan is actually super awesomely cool with some kind of metal contraption over his mouth and an iron arm of some sort! Anyone Morgan commands a captain to go and kill Rika, when he says no Morgan kills him. He's also erected a statue of himself.... Alright then!
Luffy arrives and on hearing a commotion at the top of the Marine Base uses his rubberness to just... Rocket to the top of the tower. It is safe to say Luffy destroys the statue and then kidnaps Helmeppo and runs off. The Marine's also witness Coby (my little hero!) untying Zoro after being disappointed in these kind of Marines. Coby gets attacked (no Coby!) and Luffy is still running around...
And that is it for another chapter.
Getting a tiny bit more interesting story wise.
I am a little worried for Coby poor thing! He's really doing the only thing that was right, Luffy was doing the pirate thing and the Marines are under a tyrant that forces them to be bastards but poor Coby... I do like Coby if I haven't mentioned that before!
So we finally meet Morgan and what a terrifying character he looks! Though totally over the top with the "I'm the greatest" stuff and his statue, very funny made me giggle.
It'll be interesting to see if Zoro does join Luffy, I kind of guess he will because even though he's a pirate so far Luffy has been doing what is right, he's also just a little bit stupid but totally harmless in his way. So far Zoro hasn't really left any kind of impression himself, he seems like a decent enough guy and has his honour and morale's whether or not he'll be able to join Luffy is up in the air but I think he will. Especially if Luffy comes good with his promise to get his Katana back for him.
I'll be happy when Helmeppo disappears what a grotesque man, really can't stand him!
Another really good chapter with lots going on and I can't wait to see how this story ends! Unfortunately because of the heat that might not be for a while as it is too hot to concentrate (hence a crap review and I apologize for that.)
