Fairy Tail : Pandemonium (Anime)

Episode 166
This episode starts the third day of the Grand Magic Games as well as shows the end of Natsu's confrontation with Sabretooths master.

****SPOILERS****

So we left last weeks episode with Natsu barging in on Sabretooth and demanding to face their master. This week see's the result. The master of Sabretooth Jiemma sends one of his lackeys (alright just another member of the guild) to fight Natsu, after making quick work of him Natsu turns his attention back to Jiemma. After a heated confrontation Minerva, who we haven't seen until now and has only been called The Lady, steps in to protect her father. She stops Natsu's rage by showing him that she's taken Happy prisoner.

As he walks away Natsu leaves them with his opinion of them.

Back with the rest of his guild Gray seems more upset that Natsu left to mess up Sabretooths inn without him. It was so funny seeing them two argue over it. You have to love Gray and Natsu and their whole relationship.

The same as last week really this episode served more as a gap between the days culminating with the next task. 100 demons to be fought  actually what was meant to happen was that you'd say you'd fight x amount of demons, go in and fight them. If you destroyed them all you got that many added to you total and so on and so forth until there are no more demons or everyone's magic has run out. But who picks number 1? Erza. How many did she challenge? 100......

Don't look now if you haven't read the manga!

The good thing is that it looks like next weeks episode will actually SHOW her fighting the 100 demons. The manga doesn't she goes in you get a few frames and she comes out. So it'll be nice to see Erza doing what a Erza does best!

The great thing about Fairy Tail is even if there are filler episode like this to get you from one day to the next it never feels boring. I've had to skip through the episode again because I was SURE there should be something else to write about but no, that is basically all there was to this episode!

Everything flowed together nicely and as far as I'm aware most of it was again perfect from the manga (I mean its been a while since I read these chapters!)

I can't wait for the next episode even if it is a Erza one, but we are getting a little bit closer every episode to Laxus v Daddy Laxus! I hope, seeing they seem to be making a big deal out of Erza's event, that they make an event out of Laxus's match. This is a real turning point for him, maybe not a turning point, but one of HIS big emotional moments. And even though I've never been let down by the anime (or manga) yet I would hate for this to be pushed aside a little for someone else. I have a bit of a worry it might but I'm not sure why, maybe purely because I love Laxus so much!
