Gingitsune : Shrine or Temple

Episode 7

So Satoru is finally breaking down walls. Let the fun begin!

***SPOILERS***

So Yumi's boyfriend is still looking after the cat, and whilst out trying to feed her he see's someone trying to run away from... I don't know where they were meant to be running from to be honest.

So they are all going to see the Lion Dogs and see the town and they walk past a temple. Apparently Yumi's boyfriend lives in a temple! We get to meet all of Yumi's brothers family, his mum and older and younger sisters which is quite sweet.

Shohei is the name of Yumi's boyfriend, and once again the small fat guy is trying to run away.

Apparently there are ghosts, I have a feeling I can guess what is going on.... Probably a spirit, if Shrines have them surely Temples do too. Or maybe they actually have a Shrine inside the Temple... No big deal right? Apparently the difference between the Temple and Shrine is that in a Temple people are laid to rest. And I think Gin has the same idea as I do. Heralds!

Makoto wants to go look for them though it seems Gin isn't that bothered. Two little monkeys! Being mean to the little fat bald guy.

The monkeys seem quite young too just like Haru, of course Makoto feels like she should talk to them and stop them from causing problems with the Temple, the others tell her not to interfere but it is difficult for her to say no.

The two monkeys seem to be really childish. They also have control over the wind.

They go to talk to the head priest and we find out that there was a lot of monkeys in the area so that is why their spirits are monkeys. Monkeys are the symbol of Victory. Whilst they were finding out about the Shrine and thinking why the monkeys might be doing what they were doing Gin had caught them and we finally get a explanation.

They want to make the humans happy, of course their Shrine is next to a graveyard so most of the time they see people mourning, so they tried to cheer them up by making them scared. Their elder Herlad who is now gone told them they had to keep smiling else no one would win.

Or that could have been a bit of a lie, they seem to just like playing pranks.

I loved meeting even more Heralds, I like seeing the variety of Heralds out there. They are all so different and have different feelings on situations, it is pretty amazing. Also seeing how Gin works with them is quite fun, even though he got fed up of them he was a lot more nice to them then the Turtle spirit.

It was also really nice to see how Satoru reacts to new Heralds. Specially ones totally different from Haru.

I'd like to see all the Heralds together and would really enjoy learning a little more on each and every one of them, they make me laugh and are so interesting.

I do like how everyone keeps thinking that Makoto and Satoru are dating, it makes me giggle. Would be interesting to see where their relationship goes, I mean I love Yumi and her boyfriend he is such a sweetheart as long as she stops being so hard headed with him.

The dynamics of all the characters is what I love most about the show, their isn't anyone that truly believes they are better, the Heralds sometimes look like they "tolerate" the humans but in actual fact they love them as much as the humans love the Heralds. They are a great little group.

The monkeys were quite funny, I still think I enjoyed the Lion Dogs better, they were amazingly cool but the monkeys were sweet. I didn't know that Monkeys are symbols of Victory so that Temple is rather lucky to have that Shrine inside.

Loved the episode but really want to see Haru meet the Lion Dogs!
