Coppelion : Hope

Episode 3

So they've finished their first side mission, found a girl and left two criminals to die.

It isn't as black and white as it sounds but there you go.

***SPOILERS***
The Vice-Principal goes to interrogate someone in hospital about who delivers the food, meanwhile the dog that hangs with Taeko found a key and the girls are sure they'll figure out the mystery delivery driver. Just then someone comes out of a building.

Miku is off limits to him as well.

The car keys seem to have the Vice-Principal in a bit of a panic so Ibara is told to keep them there under control and alive.

Turns out the guy is Denjiro Shiba, he tells the girl that therre is one elderly lady left in the city, we then find out he's the one that made the hazmat suits as well as the plant that caused the accident.

The professor seems to really feel terrible for what he did and wants to atone but the most important thing is for Granny to be found. The girls go on to find her, she radio's to say a giant crow like monster is attacking her and she's stuck in the art museum.

Ibara goes to save Granny whilst Taeko and Aoi are left to protect the professor. Their monster crow looks much more like a air plane to my untrained eye.

We find out that the old people were just abandoned by their families and left in the city to survive for their selves which is sad and also that I was right and the giant crow is a bomber plane.

So Ibara has 10 times the athletic abilities of humans and Taeko has 10 times the eye sight. What does Aoi have?

The guys in the bomber plane are trying to kidnap Granny, for what reason I don't know.

Ibara saves Granny and we're off to chase the monster crow!

A much better story, one that doesn't seem to skip a whole series of development or rush a story. It is being given the breathing space the last episode really needed (which sounds strange seeing that it was a two parter!)

I didn't find the story as interesting if I'm honest though it was nice seeing that the guy who built the plant felt he had to atone, he didn't need to unless we find out later he did something really wrong that really did need to be atoned for but it was an accident and not his fault but it was nice that SOMEONE felt responsible enough to feed the people that were left behind in the city.

I'm interested to know why the guys want Granny but at the same time it seems its taken a long time for anyone to care about these people or the city and it can't have been that bad in the city if small communities were able to survive. After all the guy did tell us that there were shrines for the dead in the racetrack like Miku's mother who was born after the accident if I read it correctly this episode.

At the moment it feels like the story is a little jumbled together and the fact that the only thing that really makes us realize that the city is a state is the hazmat suits, it isn't like they've really came across anything other than an abandoned city with abandoned people and its been that way since forever so I'm not sure what the story actually is right now with it.

I'm interested in the crow though, hope that plot picks up because it could be a game changer.

Also love the girls. With weaker characters I would really not be happy with this series as it is they are all pretty awesome in it so I'm happy at this moment..

It is a strange one. Must see where it goes!
