Chapter 16
So the fight is on! Can Luffy defeat Buggy? We'll soon find out!
***SPOILERS***
So Buggy and Cabaji used their crew (and Richie) as human shields and have come out of the mess perfectly fine. Mohji finally wakes up and gets to tell Buggy that Luffy is a Rubber Man and gets punched for the trouble.
Cabaji uses the flying Mohji as a distraction to attack Luffy but Zoro gets in the way, it seems it'll be Zoro v Cabaji the Acrobat but even Cabaji has noticed that Zoro is injured. Cabaji goes straight for the wound giving it a good kick before blowing up a cloud of dust.
Zoro is strong though and to prove that he doesn't care he slashes his own wound with his sword. He is now going to show Cabaji how much more awesome he is.
You guessed it, Zoro chapter and I'm a happy bunny! I love Zoro and I don't really know why but he's one of my favorite characters. I just love how laid back he is and how he just doesn't care, well he does care but you know what I mean.
Though him cutting himself was horrible, but it put Cabaji off for a second!
The fighting scenes are done so well in this manga, maybe because there isn't much magic. In Fairy Tail sometimes the manga can look a bit messy and over the top mainly because they are using magic but in this it is usually very easy to see and pretty fun to read. It isn't over baring and makes you excited for a fight, sometimes in Fairy Tail your excited but you don't really want to see the fight as to know that it happened.
Again the chapter showed how ruthless Buggy is and so is apparently Cabaji using Richie as a shield. I don't know why Mohji is Vice-Captain, he isn't anywhere near as cool as Cabaji and he isn't anywhere near as strong or good at fighting that Cabaji looks. I just don't get it.
We are down to only two of Buggy's crew though, Cabaji and Buggy. So that is three on two in our favor, though I doubt even if Zoro wins that he'll be in much of a state to carry on afterwards. He is deadly awesome though and will teach Cabaji a lesson on underestimating him!
GOOO ZORO!
I liked how in this chapter we also got to see how worried Luffy is about his friends, he watches on in silence because he has belief in Zoro and his goals but the moment it looks real bad for him (like back a couple chapters when Boodle's house got blown up) Luffy worries. He didn't even really want him to go out and fight and would have taken on Cabaji himself if it would help Zoro.
Yeah I knew I'd love Luffy.
A good chapter but I can't help but feel the next one is going to be the best!
