Makai Ouji : Devils and Realist : Pain and Ecstasy

Episode 8

So last week we got a look at some more of the Grand Dukes and such like. They were having a party and it looks like Sytry's uncle, creepy as he is, doesn't like William much.

Poor William!

***SPOILERS***
So Kevin is preying and gets a visit from Micheal.

Turns out that Kevin grew found of Solomon the first time and that is why Micheal took one of his wings. If that is what the angels are like I'd prefer living with the demons! He's horrible.

ISAAC! Worrying about flunking his test. And then they get a "declaration of war" from a student he hadn't really noticed before now. This sends William on a studying frenzy even demanding that poor little Isaac comes second instead of.... Well.... Probably about last. Of course it is Michael pretending to be a student, he truly is an annoying character....  Not annoying annoying just.... I don't like him he was meant to Kevin. Kevin!

And his grade went down in their next test.

Dantalion knows something is up though, he also knows he's either descendant of a saint or straight from heaven. How clever is Dantalion!

Turns out Michael is there to make Williams life a living hell, some guy had scribbled the answers to the test on his desk and Michael sent it to Williams desk instead. He has Isaac trying to save his name.... And Camio! His next visitor is Michael who asks him if Camio and Kevin where dangling from a cliff who would William save, before he could give an answer Kevin comes storming in. GO KEVIN!

The next day and once again Michael is trying to get an answer out of him yet for some reason they are transported elsewhere with only Sytry for support. Michael actually does now threaten William in the name of God.

Well Dantalion gets through in the end, and of course there is no love between Dantalion and Micheal. After all Lucifer was cast down to hell by his brother Michael. Turns out that Michael and Dantalion are equally matched and just as Dantalion was about to kill Michael my baby Kevin steps in to stop the fight.

Back with Gilles and Baalberith and we find out that Lucifer might actually be fading completely. So Lady Astaroth is planning on bringing William to hell to keep him safe....

It can't just be me that thinks Archangel Michael is much worse then most of the demons?!

So the whole point of this episode was for Michael to find out whether William would side with angels or demons? Well right now I think he'd probably go for the Demons seeing they are trying to protect him. None of them have been quite as horrible as Michael has been.

As for Kevin it is only a matter of time before his identity is found out. What part is he going to end up playing?

So Lucifer might be dying? Actually, you know, about to vanish completely? Did I miss a reason why this might be happening?

I liked the episode, it added the other side of the story and to be honest it isn't as clear cut as angels being good guys and Demons being bad guys, William is the good guy and everything around him is shades of grey to be honest.

Other than Isaac who is actually the most pure creature in the universe.

I also love the episodes best when they just deal with William and his school life, a smaller threat is always best. I really love just having William and Isaac together being normal teenagers then William on his own. He has great chemistry with all the characters but I think it is safe to say its best with what he believes, because he doesn't believe in the Demons and all that whenever he's in one of those situations it is a little annoying.

So.... Looking forward to the rest of this story!

Wonder how William will take Kevin's real identity!
