Karneval : Circus

Chapter 4

Gareki and Nai escape the train that had been taken over by disgruntled employees about to blow up themselves and their CEO. But before Hirato of Circus could talk to either party (the CEO or Team Nareki) they all disappear....

Hirato is in front of a load of floaty people being told off for the way the train accident went.

Meanwhile Nai is being told by a girl that Circus is in town and that they make shows when they are doing raids to say sorry to the ordernary townsfolk for getting scared during the raids. He asks if she knows of anyone called Karoku in Circus and she says she didn't know of anyone by that name. Poor Nai is not finding any luck there!

Gareki is doing his best to keep Nai out of sight but it isn't easy when Nai is so easily distracted, he is also pondering Nai being able to hear the bomb. Back in a hotel room and Gareki is telling Nai the plan. They'll try to contact Circus in the night, Gareki asks Nai what he plans on saying to the Circus people and decides that he better be doing the talking. Gareki gives us a bit of insight into himself talking about how he doesn't have the "blood" ties that Nai has to Karoku and that is why it is easy for him to walk away whereas he thinks Nai is Karoku's brother and therefore is trying to find him because he's a blood relation.

Out in the parade and Nai is finding it difficult to keep his attention span, he wanders into a half dressed women  and whilst Gareki is saving a little boys balloon  Nai is tugged to the floor by a lost child. The worst thing is that brings the security force over who are just trying to do the right thing but recognizes Nai from his wanted poster.  Nai starts to run and runs straight into a cat costumed person, meanwhile someone the CEO has sent to look for him reports back tat he's found him.

Somehow Gareki find Nai and tries his hardest to keep him from sight. Tsukumo is in the middle of performing  when a member of the security force comes up to her to tell them that they've spotted Nai. Hirato gets in touch with the person closest to where Nai was found and it just so turns out that it is Yogi. Meanwhile Gareki is trying to keep Nai safe but runs into trouble, he gets stunned by the guys working for the CEO and as they plan on killing Gareki  he is saved by the costumed cat person.  It turns out to be Yogi there to save them.  The bad guys don't even attempt to fight Yogi who takes them to the Circus ship!

I apologise for any weird grammar or spellings I had my iPad up against my screen and was typing blindly and can't be bothered to double check that everything is alright!

So Circus have their hands on Team Nareki and the bad guys are scared of Circus. Should they really be scared of a guy that seconds before was a cat throwing candy bars at them?!

We get a glimpse of the troubled past Gareki has had and also a start to him not minding Nai so much and thinking of him more as a person then a burden which is cute. Nai is adorable getting lost and trying to remember what Gareki tells him to do. It is sweet, Gareki is right that Nai is clueless but he seems to be learning so much from Gareki, he takes in everything he says and even if he doesn't always get it right he's trying so hard.

 Much the same as the anime other then the fact that the main threat was the security force right up until Gareki was tazered by the other guys.

And next time we get to go onto the Circus ship YAY!

Again Yogi was the love of my little life from the moment he was moaning about being trampled on poor baby!

Another good chapter and I'll have another two up in the next couple days!
