Coppelion : Sunset

Episode 4

So some strange guys in a bomber plane tried to kidnap a OAP from the Old Capital.

Why?

This is the question they will hopefully get a answer to when they finally catch up with it!

***SPOILERS***

So the chase is on!

It isn't easy what with Ibara needing to shoot from behind  to stop it, unfortunately even when they do hit it they need to chase after it and hope it doesn't sort themselves out before they get to them. Unfortunately by the time they get to them they are dead. It turns out they were dumping high level waste in the speed boat pool. It is what makes the "zones" of high contamination.

The company are called Yellow Cake and they seem to be making it into a dumping ground seeing it is already a waste land.

Once more Ibara seems to break down for very little reason.

They get a message that the professor hasn't come back to the base so go looking for him and find him at the shrine that they thought the old lady would be at, he took his mask off but they still try to save him. Turns out the Vice Principals wife and daughter were killed in the accident, and they JUST save the professor.

This time though Ibara isn't the only one to break down in tears for some odd reason all three of them are crying......................

It needs more full stops but I thought you'd kill me with a page of full stops!

Ibara is starting to get on my nerves with her continuous break downs.

I'm guessing there is more to their backgrounds then we've been led to believe? If this is the case then I'm hoping beyond hope we don't have to wait long to find out WHAT because I can't deal with all this.... Emotion? Can you even call it emotion? It just seems to be her breaking down and trying to make the audience see how terrible this situation is.

WE KNOW!

If it wasn't for the fact I'm watching this series with my mum this weekend and next weekend I probably would give this up which is something I know a lot of people did and I thought it was harsh but I'm seeing what they were saying now. It is difficult to love the anime because as pretty as it is and as interesting as the setting might be there just isn't anything really THERE is there?

So we get happy endings all around most of the time, we now know why the bomber plane was there and can guess why they might have been kidnapping Granny and they are off again.

It feels rushed, it feels under planned and it feels like they were too scared to really make a point with the anime. It could have been so much more and it isn't.

The emotional break down of the character would have an impact if it didn't start in episode two and CARRY ON EVERY SINGLE EPISODE until the other two main characters tell her to stop breaking down on her own because they can break down with her...

Just give the emotional blackmail on the audience a rest!

This story was boring though. Hoping for better next time!
