Fairy Tail : The Two Bombs

Chapter 361

No words. Natsu?

***SPOILERS***

So Wendy and Lucy take up the attack but he just blocks using the blasts, we also find out it isn't magic but "Enchantment", a power that "stands above magic". Could they get any cooler?!

Jackel runs off and Lucy follows but just when she's about to attack again he puts a land mine under her, any movement and that'll be it for Lucy. That isn't enough though, Jackel wants to have some fun and puts the counsellor and a pregnant women each in a bomb and tells Lucy she has to choose.

Thankfully Natsu interrupts and he has a new trick... Eating all the explosions!

I kind of guessed that Natsu wouldn't be down and out but you know what? I was calling for him to come back and help Lucy but this chapter was dark. So dark.

I have to applaud the way the story went, in a way, I never thought Fairy Tail would go down that road but it was a real eye opening chapter, not only because they were brave enough to put such a story forward but also because there is a deep rooted nasty side to someone we are meant to want saved... And it is the bad guy that is pointing this out!

Anyone from Fairy Tail, even me a total and utter wimp, would have been telling Lucy to blow me up and let the pregnant women leave unharmed, but this guy for all the good he thinks he's done keeping his people safe for years seems to think they should lay down and die for him. And it seemed the only person that called him out on this was Jackel.

It was a really interesting story and I'm starting to wonder under the surface of it who exactly is going to come out on the good side. Obviously Tartarus (Tartaros... Whichever) are Demons made to destroy, but why did Zeref really make them? Or at least what is it that the counsellors have done? It is starting to seem like this isn't going to be a black and white story.

I would like to have some of this explained though, they keep dropping a lot of "questions" and hints at what this is all about but I'm still none the wiser. I'd like to know how exactly Enchantment tops Magic and why it seems Enchantment doesn't really do much better then Dragon Slayer Magic. Also wasn't all this what the Dragons were fighting and failed? Or at least Igneel? Therefore what is still to come?

The story is already quite dark I can't wait to see where this goes in the future!

Plus after next week which will hopefully be then end of Team Natsu's part of the plan we'll see what the others are up to.
